I own bell and he's riding the pine as well. But Freddy on MNF at home against the reeling and injury riddled GMen sounds like a tempting matchup to at least consider.
Tempting, but Drew leeches TD's. And I have confidence in Brown, look what he did to the Bears.
I'm glad you brought up the Bears game, because it raises an interesting point or two. Miami was clearly jacked up for that game like nothing we've seen since late 2005. That Miami team played out of their minds on both sides of the ball for 4 quarters (especically Jason Taylor, who was simply unblockable). Unless the Bears were looking at film from last year, they had no way to know what was about to hit them. The logical explanation is the the '72 Dolphins had a lot to do with the inspired play. I have learned my lesson and would never pick against the Phins vs. any undefeated team (after week 6 or so). Of course, the most memorable game of this sort was 1985, and we all know what transpired in that 38-24 MIA victory on MNF for the Bears only loss on the season (could have been the best SB ever but the Pats intervened). Week 17 (Miami vs. Indy) will be one of the biggest regular season games in league history if Indy waltzes in at 15-0. In that event, I'm almost certain Miami will win the game. Just a strong feeling that they will want to preserve the perfect season more that the Colts will want to remain undefeated. I have no idea what the '72 players say, but it works like a charm every time.Anyway, Miami is not a very good team this year, and Ronnie is suffering due to poor OL play, a very mediocre QB, and other reasons that are not really his fault. Miami won the Bears game to preserve history. As a Bear fan, you just saw that look in their eyes from the first snap and knew it was trouble. That game screams anomaly.
