Might be a good time to discuss this with playoffs looming and big time injuries, suspensions, and releases. I’d be interested to see where people put Ware, Chubb, and Gordon in particular. I’m assuming ppr and a week 15 return for Melvin.

Gurley- no explanation needed

Zeke- On a tear, great schedule, could get linemen back soon

CMC- similar to Zeke on fire and great schedule

Saquon- amazing talent

Kamara- seems like a bit of a lull right now but too talented to not bounce back

Conner- The man in a great offense

Chubb- volume and goal line with catches starting to become a thing for him. Don’t love at Denver week 15.

Mixon- sorta have the feeling Cincy is going to fall apart (or continue to fall apart maybe is more accurate).

Ware- I expect he’ll be featured in this amazing offense. Could rank him higher.

DJ- rb10 in my league. Atl and Det on the schedule is nice

Fournette- struggled with him. He’s been producing via volume and the goal line but they just lost another lineman and have nothing to play for.  And of course only 3 games left for him.

A. Jones- at Chi week 15 is a minus. Jets, Falcons, Cards a huge plus

Lamar- looks to have the backfield virtually to himself

Melvin- 2 weeks of a stud rb will be huge for teams with a bye or who survive week 14.

Michel- Rex will take a few touches?

 Others:

Cook, Lindsay, Ingram, Kerryon, Mack, Adams, Edwards

Thoughts?

Lindsay should be higher, dude just keeps outproducing Royce. Add Ekeler in the last group imo.

Good list.

IMO Gordon is out until at least week 16...the week 15 game is TNF...so if he's not back week 14 I can't see him going from not playing at all to a full go in four days. More likely they give him the full mini-bye afterwards to get him closer to 100%.  Ekeler should deliver top 12-15 production and 5-6 recpts/game in his place, however.

Chubb vs. Denver shouldn't be scary...the Broncos' pass rush/defense is their strength and they actually give up 4.7 ypa rushing on the season (same as Tampa/Detroit/CIN).

I agree with top 4 then would go...to round out the top 12.

Kamara

Chubb

Conner

Ware

DJ

A Jones

Lindsay

Mixon

FWIW Dr Chao thinks his goal would be to try and return week 15 to face the Chiefs in what could be a huge game.

I'd just say if you own Gordon, you'd like to see the Chargers win this week and next.

As a Gordon owner I think that would be fantastic...but even so I'd be concerned about a pitch count in his first game back if he's not practicing in full by then. Especially if Ekeler performs well in his absence.

Not trying to be Debbie Downer just realistic since the Chargers will likely be extra cautious this time.

My understanding is that Denver was awful early in the year but in the past few weeks they’ve shut down Gordon (on the ground), Conner, Lamar, DJ, and Hunt.

Hunt was 16-50

Gordon was 18-69

Both held in check but both had very good receiving days with TDs.  Can Chubb keep up his recent involvement?

Conner was 13-53 and almost 100 APY but did have a fumble.

Overall I’d say DEN much better vs run now but Chubb can have a solid all-purpose day if he can stay involved in the passing game.

That’s a cumulative 3.7 ypc from a real good group of backs who are all more accomplished than Chubb through the air and used that to salvage their day. I agree that Chubb can still make it happen with a 20-25 carry game and 3-4 catches. He could see 100 total yards with a good chance at a td. Just pointing out why I think Denver is a tough matchup at the moment and a far cry from where they were when they were getting shredded by Crowell, Gurley, etc early in the year.
