My mom has been expecting a fed ex package.  She asked me to check the tracking for her. This is what I found (note she lives in Massachusetts).  The bottom is the start of the delivery, the top is the most recent.

Call them or you're not getting your package. It could have been theoretically "out for delivery" and not shipped. We had a problem with this and Levi's and it was actually a problem between Levi'scsnd Fed Ex. We had to work hard for the refund.

I’ve had something kinda similar to that happen before. I was shipping a package from southern Cali to another state on the Pacific coast via fed ex air—and somehow—they had to fly it somewhere way east—and then back to the west for the final delivery.  When I called and asked about it—they said that they have hubs and sometimes packages need to go through those hubs even if it doesn’t make perfect geographical sense.   With that said—your package seems to be going through way more than the one with my experience did.  I’d for sure call and follow up on that.

Had something similar happen with an $1100 item.  Should have taken 4-6 days, but was bouncing around all over the place.  Was pretty sure I was getting screwed over, but the seller was keeping in contact with me and continually checking the status also.  Ended up taking a little over 2 weeks.  Southern Cal to Omaha, NE.
