"Rounders" (1 Viewer)

This was just on again, and something occurred to me that I never realized before. When Mike beats Teddy in the final game, Teddy rants and

raves but finally says "He beat me, straight up.

Pay that man his money." But then Grama flips over a chair in anger, sending chips flying everywhere. What exactly is HE pissed about??? He still got his $15K. Would he have

preferred that Mike lost, in which case he could beat the crap out of him in the morning, however he wouldn't get his money back. Please splain.
I've always wondered this too. He bought the debt for pennies and juiced it. Mike came through for him. What if mike loses? Were they planning on locking him in a basement to handle all their legal work for a couple of years or something??
He had his 15K after the first round of the final game. Teddy losing again after he goaded Mike back to the table wasn't good for either of them.

You wanna see the seventh card? Stop speaking ####ing Sputnik! I'm sure you guys were talking about pierogies and snow, but cut it out!

My son woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get back to sleep so I started watching some TV. Rounders came on HBO at 5am so I was watching but still a bit groggy. However, noticed something that seemed a little off. Mike goes to pick up Worm from prison and borrows that drip's green SUV. Mike lets Worm know he doesn't play anymore and drops him off at the preppy game. Mike decides to play and shows up...blah blah blah. The games ends and Mike, Worm and the broad that sets them up in the game are outside and Mike slides the 25% cut to her. The car Mike and Worm are getting into though was a black 4 door sedan. Did the movie screw that up since they should have been in the drip's green SUV or did I miss something watching the movie half asleep?

The SUV they came and left in was the same, but Worm, after going bust at the prep game, was hiding out in the sedan of Mike's "girlfriend" waiting for Mike to finish up.

Mikey turning down Petra = gaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Brian Koppleman has mentioned in recent interviews that was his mistake. McD and Petra definitely should have hit it. He was worried Mike would come off as too much of a heel if he hooked up with Petra, but Mike's relationship with Jo was over whether he banged Petra or not.
