Rudi Johnson Owners (1 Viewer)

The good news for Rudi owners is he got most of the carries today instead of Watson. The bad news is he looked absolutely awful. I thought he looked bad against Seattle but this was even worse. Watson didn't do much either running the ball so credit the Bills' run defense for pretty much shutting down the Bengals' ground game. But the clock may be ticking on Rudi. He hasn't had a good game since Week 2 and will get no favors next week against the Ravens. He's been one of the most under-rated RBs in fantasy for the past few seasons but he's going to be hard-pressed to get off fantasy benches for awhile. His trade value is probably rock bottom so dealing him isn't an option. Maybe he gets back on track at some point but he certainly didn't provide any hints today that's going to happen sometime soon. I can't see any way people should start him next week at Baltimore.

What did other Rudi owners think?

It doesnt help that hes no threat as a pass catcher. YOu have to wonder if Lewis wil stay loyal to him with theie season in peril.

In before the Rudi owners get offended.

You have a few options as a Rudi owner:

1) Realize he won't live up to his draft status and pray Watson gets hurt. (Because he's not going to do anything with a time share, discounting the fact Watson's looked better running the ball too)

2) Drop to the WW and watch him get snatched up.

3) Trade him for Cedric Benson (why not? I'm sure a few Ced owners would do it).

That team has plenty of problems. Rudi, if healthy, isn't one of them. As Rudi gets back into game shape, Watson will resume his duties as change of pace / 3rd down back. The same role he and Chris Perry have played for a few years now.
