If you join a league full of strangers (even the Commish)... would you rather the Commish to have the power to Approve or Reject; or have a Vote to it.

Good Point; Buts thats another issue... I'm talking when you sign up up for a league. There should be a 4th option in the poll...only trades where there is collusion should be rejected.
I think that falls under the "only Commish approves or rejects" classno commish approval or reject or league vote, let owners manager their own team
League votes are the single dumbest thing in fantasy football. I've seen (or heard) all too many times a trade get voted down because it is viewed to be heavily one-sided toward side A, but then moving forward the players that side B would have gotten go off the next few weeks and now that owner has been c*ck-blocked by a bunch of ignorant owners who should have no say in the decisions he makes for his team.Unless a trade is something similar to Peyton Manning for Charlie Frye and Brandon Lloyd ..... keep your meddling nose out of other owners' business.I will play in PPR leagues, no TE leagues, total point rather then head-to-head leagues, keeper leagues, non-keeper leagues, dynasty leagues, IDP leagues, return-yards-count leagues, etc, etc. The one league I will never play in is a league where rival owners get to vote to veto trades that other grown men agree to. If the trade is collusion ..... the commissioner will handle it.
commissioners should not have that power unless it is collision, they are owners to. get solid, trustworthy owners and you will not have any problemsI think that falls under the "only Commish approves or rejects" classno commish approval or reject or league vote, let owners manager their own team
i have played in CBS public leagues($100) for about 5 years now. I have learnt that all trades will be vetoedWhen it comes to money leagues.... it has too be commisher approval.
The 2nd time I was in a money league; it was a CBS league that required 50% of the league to veto.
Heres what happened; One trade got veto... those owners got pissed and had a vendenta against the league. Another Trade got veto and they got pissed. Too make a long story short... by mid-season; no one was allowed to make trades because the too many people had vendentas against their own veto trades.
After that; I said never again.
Also; every league has those owners who will veto anything. Any trade, reject every trade offer, any change to their perfect little world and their all against it.
There should be a 4th option in the poll...only trades where there is collusion should be rejected.
no commish approval or reject or league vote, let owners manager their own team

:X
Its not in this poll because most leagues that have Commish only Approval/Rejection run this way. I commish 3 money leagues and countless yahoo league in the past 3 or 4 yrs and I have never once rejected a trade. There was only one trade I questioned in that time and what I did was ask the league to send me votes/thoughts about it in 2 days time... in the end; over half the league felt it wasn't collusion and that the trade should go though. That how I run things and that why I fell that the "4th option" falls into the Commish Approval. I totally agree with you 2 that the only job that the Commish should have in this is to press the button that says "yes, allow the Trade" unless its clear collusion... that is what I meant bye the 1st option. There should be a 4th option in the poll...only trades where there is collusion should be rejected.no commish approval or reject or league vote, let owners manager their own team![]()
