I'm confused... if the sign says 3 six-packs for $9.99, which is the sale price for you buying in bulk, but if you don't buy 3 six-packs and you only buy one, why would you expect to get the sale price of $3.33? The whole reason for the sale price is because they want to you buy 3 and that therefore increases their profit while their margin on each is lower, but they are moving product. That's pretty much the whole point of a sale like that. I don't know of a "good ole days" scenario where this was ever happening and if there was, you people taking advantage of it were really lucky.

The grocery stores down here...if something is say $1.50 but 10$10...you go to the register and it's $1 each for the 5 bottles you are buying. They want you to buy 10 but they will sell you whatever quantity you want, happens at Publix all the time.

I'm OK with most of it, the racism stuff I really think is uncalled for. Most of the time I ignore them, Glump. When I worked at Whole Foods I was one of a handful of whites on a staff of 200. Where I work now, I am one of just a handful of white people in my area. In fact the team of 12 I just left was made up of 7 African Americans, 4 Hispanic, and me. I actually find a lot more comfort from African Americans, far less judgmental, very appreciative of anything I can do for them or help them. It's just really insulting to see folks think I'm racist, yeah it hurts a little. Maybe it is my what I wrote but it wasn't meant to be racist, just honest. Honesty is never a good thing at the FFA though, we all have seen that time and time again.

I'm OK with most of it, the racism stuff I really think is uncalled for. Most of the time I ignore them, Glump. When I worked at Whole Foods I was one of a handful of whites on a staff of 200. Where I work now, I am one of just a handful of white people in my area. In fact the team of 12 I just left was made up of 7 African Americans, 4 Hispanic, and me. I actually find a lot more comfort from African Americans, far less judgmental, very appreciative of anything I can do for them or help them. It's just really insulting to see folks think I'm racist, yeah it hurts a little. Maybe it is my what I wrote but it wasn't meant to be racist, just honest. Honesty is never a good thing at the FFA though, we all have seen that time and time again.
