Ruud (1 Viewer)

I drafted Ruud a few years ago over guys like Thurman and such. I also passed on Tatupu later. It was hard seeing Thurman do well early on and Tatupu getting lots of love.
Exactly the same story here. I took Ruud ahead of both of those guys and spent two years kicking myself over it.
My luck continued in that '05 draft, Tatupu was the 3rd LB I selected (22nd round). I steered clear of Thurman and Crowder due to charactor issues, didn't drop them off my board, but suspected they both would be taken earlier than I would. Thurman went in the 16th and Crowder in the 27th. WTS, with every hit there's generally a miss: the 4th LB I picked was Alfred Fincher, (Crowder was availble), and late in the draft, I took Lance Mitchell. I was real pleased to come away with 3 of the top 5 LB's on my board (Ruud, Tatupu and Fincher). I cut bait with Fincher back in August.Sorry about  , I get caught up in IDP ramble on and on and get carried away.

Back to the topic: There's has been alot of Ruud  on this board the past 2 years, nice to see things finally look as though they will pan out. Makes us all look like a bunch of leprechaun's :D

I drafted Ruud while he was still in college (as we are able to in my league) I just traded him away and I'm kickin myself!!!!!!

More hijacking:I've been waiting awhile some of my 05 draftees to pan out and it looks like this is the year:

Ruud

Tuck

Marlin Jackson

Atogwe

I doubt I'll see anything from the rest: JJ Arrington, David Pollack, Erasmus James

Ruud has went from a borderline LB3/LB4 to a top 5 stud LB in a few short games. I figured he would be better if he played 3 downs, but there is no way I could have foreseen this much improvement. He is literally all over the field.

I love all these tackles. I was a bit concerned with all the big plays he was making as I hate relying on those. Over 10 tk+ast a game is :boxing:

is this guy playing today? I just traded for him, and he has no points at halftime..
