Ryan Torain (1 Viewer)

I just packaged Torrain w/ Brandon Marshall/Lynch/A. Smith for H. Nicks. I probably overpaid but I can't deal w/ these Shanny headaches.

FWIW, the 'Skins did not add another RB to the active roster after putting Hightower and Cooley on IR. That makes Torain and Helu the only RBs on the roster.

Opportunity is great and all, but the Skins are losing starters on offense at every turn and looking worse every week. Any reasonable offers should be accepted at this point. Punt on the whole mess that is the Shanny offense.

someone asked about the value or Torain. I will just give an example of the trade in my PPR league that was greatly scrutinized.

Torain

Turner

Olsen

for

Best

LT

Graham

not really sure if that helps.

Yea, they did add a RB to the practice squad whose name escapes me (Tristin something?). And 6th round pick Royster is still on the practice squad too.

Wow! You said it was scrutinized but I'm more curious why it was made; is Torain the linchpin out the Torain-Turner-Olsen, group?

To me, that basically looks like Jimmy Graham for Turner, swapping 2 injury prone RBs, and 1 throw in on each side. I dont see how it would be scrutinized unless thats Earnest Graham

I don't understand your question. I thought it was a bit lopsided towards the player getting the Graham side of the deal but the team giving Turner & co had great RB depth which was a need for the Graham owner.

Both teams covering needs?

This has a Betts type feel to it where he took over for an injured portis and had an incredible 2nd half. If I recall there was only like 2 running backs on that roster as well. One of those guys have to run the ball if not both.

Practice squad isn't active roster.
I know.

yes but I really wasn't trying to get the trade evaluated or anything, someone just asked about value...

I agree with your synopsis of the trade. All I was asking if you could gauge how much Torain was valued by the person receiving him; as a starter or a throw in. Jimmy Graham is a highly touted player in my world, unless of course you meant Earnest Graham.

I tried really hard all week to deal this bum. No one would give me stale bag of chips for him. The only thing that gives him any value is the title of appointed starting RB for an NFL team.
