Saban: Joey Harrington will remain starter week 6 (1 Viewer)

Coach Nick Saban said Monday that Joey Harrington will remain the team's starter going into Week 6.The numbers weren't great, but Harrington was an upgrade over Daunte Culpepper's play. We'd guess that Culpepper will get the job back, perhaps after the team's bye, but Harrington is worth picking up as a QB2/3 in deep leagues. He has two great matchups with the Packers and Jets coming up.Source: MiamiDolphins.com
Joey Harrington will start for the Dolphins in Week 6."Joey is going to continue to play quarterback," Saban said Monday. The coach emphasized the long-range relationship the team has with Culpepper and that they will keep working to improve his explosiveness before he plays again. It's a week-to-week decision, but we'd be surprised if Culpepper plays before a Week 8 bye. We'd drop him in most leagues.

I'll miss that TD shuffle Culp does. Well, not like he was going to be doing that even if he started...

OOOOOOH. Could he POSSIBLY be the starter for Thangsgiving in Detroit?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let that happen.

I'm not a Joey supporter at all...in fact, I think he pretty much sucks. That being said, if he starts against Detroit on Thanksgiving, I think he goes for 350yds and 3-tds.

This now sounds like it has nothing to do with Culpepper's reported injury and it will be tough for him to get his job back after Joey looks good against Green Bay and Jets.

If he starts, it would probably initiate the loudest booing ever recorded in the history of Detroit sports. I'll be at that game and would love for him to play. Not so I can boo him, but rather to see him beat the Lions. I'm so fed up with the Lions franchise that I hope they lose every game this year. The Tigers have turned it around and so did the Red Wings and Pistons. When will the Lions turn the corner? Probably never.

If I looked at it correctly, his targets were:

Welker: 12

Chambers: 10

McMichael: 9

I did not see the game, is Welker really a viable fantasy WR now?

If Booker is hurt? Definitely.
He is no matter what. One of the NE halftime adjustments was to double Welker because they felt he could was have too much success with single coverage. This was mentioned in today's Boston Globe. I don't have a link, because I read the actual paper.
