i was wondering thoughts with the changes in the status of some safeties from those on the forum?
1.horton seems to be losing snaps and favor in d.c. but i haven't read whether he will or won't be the starting and full time strong safety after losing 30 snaps last week.
2. afalava has been named strong safety and payne to the bench with the return of manning to fs. lovie like afalava and he seems to be producing fairly well and with urlacher gone he might really get a bump in tackles although seems steelers like to pass more than is thought that they are a running team.
3. have read and agree that the ss spot for the lions is a plumb of a job much like the same in oakland. well seems pearson is gone and manuel has the job for now. seems like he and foote would be great starts this week and probably most week although manuel is not a lock if he doesn't produce at all.
4. i like butler of the rams but seem to be alone there. he is a quarenteed starter and has been doing more than well. he is familiar with the scheme and in fact was brought on board and payed starter money to be just what he is doing. the rams and how they will be facing teams running and running out the clock should give him many tackle opportunities along with atogwe but with butler spending much more time in the box.
i have afalava being picked up over horton on the ww in a few leauges and would like thoughts if i am off the mark or missing something as this can be cancelled.
