SAINTS @ RAIDERS -- *Game Thread* (1 Viewer)

Taiwan Jones looks good. From the run that was called back , the pass thrown his way on the wheel route , his 1st official carry etc. His jets look real. I'm spending the $2in the contest

Actually on the play before that I was just thinking that he looked slow.

Sproles is the guy that has to concern you if you are an Ingram fan. He's getting a ton of time on the field. If it's 40-40-20, than Ingram could easily see an 800-900 yard season, though I think he'll still get double digit touchdowns.

Thought Saints were supposed to run the ball more? That and Pierre/sproles split make a me a little nervous about Ingram

I don't think Ingram gets the majority if PT and Sproles stay healthy. I'm glad I watched this game before my drafts this week, because it tells the story better than speculation.

The Falcons passed the ball 42 times in the first half. Do we really think they're going to be THAT pass heavy in the regular season? Of course not.Even the all-important 3rd preseason game isn't necessarily an indicator of what's going to happen in the regular season.

Saints ran the ball 29% of the time in the first half. during the pregame they were talking about how they were were the lowest in the league at 33% (or something around there).

Taiwan Jones needs to put on an XXS jersey and duct tape the hem into his pants. Something like under armor. Notice that he's greased lightning, but a finger around the back of his shirt is his kryptonite.

I think it pretty clear from tonight that PT will get a good share of the carries, and they will also sprinkle in SOME Sproles. Combine that with Payton not caring about specific GL backs... points to Ingram not being the value many are thinking he will be.Now if PT gets hurt (always a good possibility), it's a totally different ball game. JMO.

PT looks pretty ordinary and disposable. Sproles looks like he'll be a bigger weapon this year than PT. But nobody looks like the allpro that Ingram is. I don't see how you draw that conclusion from that first half. Ingram is the beast.

Taiwan described in practice as "riding on rails". He seems to be on ice skates rounding the corner on Raider speed CB's and safeties.

I must be watching a different game than you.Sproles 3/14Thomas 3/9Ingram 5/11Not seeing the huge advantage to Ingram. Also 11 total carries. I would be better of Flexing a WR.

I'm beginning to think the same and I spent 9% on him in my auction. :bag:

When McFadden gets back the offense will change and he'll be the center of it. Taiwan may get a few snaps, but if you draft him, he's a flyer on deep benches. Bush will get his and the upside is limited. Hope TJ can make an impact on his limited plays.

Michelle Tafoya doesn't know what she's talking about. The worst parking lot is in San Francisco. The Raiders don't allow drivethru tailgaters like the Niners.

How about the Raiders 4th and 5th round draft picks this year. Taiwan Jones and Denarius Moore. Al Davis knows how to draft in the mid rounds.

That Taiwan Jones TD, I just lost a half a tooth chewing on a cashew. Nuts!
Yeah. You ever see a play and you're like, "I can't put my finger on it but something about that made me really take notice"?

I think Jones looks like he can do more McFadden-like things when if DMAC gets hurt. Since the Raiders have said they are building an offense around what DMAC can do, makes Jones a guy for fantasy.
