i had bookmarked this page a while back and forgot about it. i'm not sure how accurate it is, but it looks pretty legit.

is Olin Kruetz (OL) for the Bears really making $12.7 million this year! i know he's been in the league 10 years, but that seems like a ton of money.... it drops to $3.4 million next year.

Haynesworth is making $646,000 this year....and $5.5 million next year.

anyways, i thought the FBG's might enjoy this site

That 12 million was in 06. He actually makes 3.45 this year and 2.33 in 08-10.

Once again showing that Angelo's cap management skills are badass.

Is there anybody on the Bears schedule to make what they're actually worth? Urlacher's cap figure for the next 2 years is 5.4 million, and 6.4 million in 2009. Far under his market value considering the deals this offseason.

In 2010 it jumps to 8.8, and 10.35 in 2011. Considering the Clements deal this year, and the fact that the cap keeps rising like it does, that's going to be a drop in the bucket.

Too bad they couldn't get Briggs for the deal Angelo offered last year. Angelo is a friggin cap genius!

It's also worth noting that the NFLPA site is accurate for base salaries. It does NOT include signing bonus money or roster bonuses. To arrive at Urlacher's actual cap figures, I had to account for his 13 million signing bonus prorated over 9 years, and the 1.3 and 1.6 million roster bonuses he's due in 2010 and 2011. I'm sure they don't count incentives and whatnot, because those are impossible to account for.

Here's the ACTUAL breakdown of Urlacher's contract:

Overall, if you calculate signing bonus money onto the base salaries you'll be correct in most cases. It may be slightly off in some though.
