San Bernardino school shooting (1 Viewer)

I'm not one for shock on anything at this point, but when I see "elementary school," it always makes my stomach turn.

There are sick individuals, but anyone willing to shoot anyone in an elementary school is so sick, I wonder how they slip through the system. That piece of #### from Sandy Hook (who doesn't deserve mention by name and is hopefully burning in hell) comes to mind.

Not at all. If you are going to come in here and immediately post some stupid #### I am going to call you out for it. Everyone should do the same.
I was just stating a fact... what you decide to take from it is all on you. Glad I quoted that before you could change it ;)

It looks from early reports like this being reported as a domestic violence situation involving the teacher.  I'd say that, yes, that involves a sick individual.  And often slips through the system because the system doesn't take domestic violence as seriously as it should.

Local news here is suggesting that the suspect is related to a teacher, so this may be a personal thing rather than some random act of insanity.

USUALLY murder suicides like this are people who are close/related/lovers/etc... especially when it's more of one person being targeted rather than a spree shooting.

Or people who get fired...

Like the recent murder/suicide at that Florida gym.

I'm sure it's a male, almost always is. What the hell is wrong with them? RIP to those that passed and best wishes to those that will have to live with this tragedy.

If you're a parent, imagine yourself in these shoes:

Frantic parents rushed to North Park Elementary. Brad Hendran told CNN affiliate KABC he was looking for his daughter, who is in the second grade.
"I fell to my knees and started saying our father and hail Mary's. ... I'm gonna hug her. ... I'm gonna hug her. I hope she is OK," Hendran said.
One father, who wasn't identified by the CNN affiliate, stood behind police tape, looking for one of his sons. He said his two boys are in second grade and fifth grade.
"I see one of my boys, but not the smallest one," he said tearfully. His eldest son had just gotten on a bus, he said.

Moar guns!!!

One of the injured students has died, an 8-year old. The teacher was the shooter's wife.
