they are winning his completion rate is 69.3, when losing its 63.9
When they are winning his TD/Int ratio is 8-0, when they are losing its 2-4
When they are winning his QB rating is 120.7, when they are losing its 82.
Them's the facts. Its football, you play with what you've got and injuries are part of the deal. Jalen has been playing from behind and winning without Dallas Goedert for weeks and most recently without his all pro LT. No excuses, just step up and win.
When they are winning...when they are losing...in 3 game stretch where even the defense was no help. But you hold on to those stats.
Why you keep bringing up what Hurts has done...dude was a 2nd round pick and MVP candidate last season. Purdy is a guy who's making a name for himself and learning the position. Nobody said he's elite.
Yes it's not good when you don't play well because one O Lineman is out, but if not for Trent Williams, SFs OL would be ranked 30ish, so I'd say he's even more important to SF than Lane is to PHI. You also have an all pro center, which helps when a starter is out.
It's not an excuse, it's just a fact that when Trent Williams doesn't play, it's not good. If SF ever decides to beef up their O Line, it will bad for everybody else. Until that happens, we will just have to work with what we've got.
