SD-OAK game moved to 11:35PM Eastern (1 Viewer)

Just heard they need 24 hours to adjust the stadium. Can we get a stadium for these multi gazillion dollar franchises please so they don't have to share?

Has a game ever started this late that airs on the east coast before?
Thought I just heard Shefter on ESPN say its the latest start time in NFL history, definitely sucks for East coasters unless you don't work on Monday.

I remember when the Eagles played the Saints in a preseason game in Japan in the 90s. That started at 10:30pm Est. Never seen a regular season game this late though.

college games do on a fairly regular basis. Of course, those usually involve Hawaii or Southwest Washington State versus Southern Idaho or California Poly-Tech

Do east coasters interested in staying up until 3am to watch Raiders-Chargers actually exist?
No, but plenty of fantasy playing degenerates are

If the NFL were smart they'd offer a free coupon code to use NFL game rewind so that the majority of the population could watch the game if they really wanted to. Plus, once you go to football games with everything but the football cut out it's really difficult to go back to watching all that crap that goes on during a traditional broadcast. NFL Game Rewind might be the best bargain in sports. Really, once you go Redzone on Sundays and Rewind the rest of the week it's tough to pay for a ticket(and parking, and food, and etc) ever again.

I'd love to watch it but even if I didn't have to work my kid is awake at 6.

Perfect, I will be in Vegas. Always feel like football on Sunday's ends too early on the West coast

I love when the Hawaii games used to air every week on Fox Sports West 2. Im in the east and would watch every game just for the obscurity of it all. I became a big fan when the former AZ coach was fired and June Jones took over. There were some great years.

I was po'd beyond belief that the Fresno game wasnt on this past Saturday; it started at midnight EDT.

So, yeah...count me in...but I wish it was at 4pm as usual. There's not enough 4pm games already; this will make it worse.

You got that right. I hate to be one of those impatient, instant gratification people but the NFL pumps so many commercials that either on tv or live, it's grueling going through the whole "3 1/2 hours to see 60 minutes" games. The only thing I don't like about redzone (just got it two weeks ago) is that I haven't figured out how they expect me to take a bathroom break. Lol

So...why don't they just move it to Monday night, and move the other Monday night game up an hour or so?????????

I'm disappointed they did this. The NFL should've told them to pound sand after MLB wouldn't accomodate Baltimore's opener.

I love it, I'm on EST but am up late/early :) every night! :)

An Rivers is my QB in 2 leagues! I'll be watchin an lovin it!

Sucks as a Charger fan to wait, but it's not a bad thing to have football literally all day. That we should murder the Raiders isn't bad either.

I wonder how drunk the crowd is gonna be at that time?
Being that it is in Oakland, I'm sure some fans will show up thinking it's still a 1 pm game :)

All I know is that would be a hell of a tailgate! You can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a midnight snack all on game day.

Right here buddy
Detroit is coinsidered east coast these days? Its not even is the EST time zone, and I figured it wouldve been assumed I meant excluding fans of either team.
