SD WR's vs HOU this week (1 Viewer)

All I know is what I am seeing on the depth chart and I have obviously never heard of this guy.

Seems that Crayton is the only viable WR they have at the moment. Anybody have any insight here? With a game a HOU, somebody has to get some targets besides Crayton and Gates.

S.Ajirotutu.....6'3" 210 lbs caught 3-48 last week- hes a big physical presence and Gates is also supposedly worse this week.

Seyi Ajirotutu

He started last week, and should continue to start for at least one more week. With Gates possibly out for 1 or more weeks, Ajirotutu could be a sneaky play. He's a young UDFA rookie with excellent size (6'3" 211lbs) but played for Fresno State, seems a bit raw, and there doesn't seem to be a lot more info out there about him. I think he was expected to be a late draft pick but ended up slipping through the cracks.

Some SD homer could probably add more...

Trick question b/c it's not a WR or TE who's gonna benefit from all the injuries (especially Gates probably being out week 9), it's a RB: Darren Sproles.

I don't remember if it was Cecil, Matt or Sigmund, but one or more of them talked positively about Seyi at either the Senior or Shrine and how he was a quick learner. Apparently, Keenan McCardell (WAS WR coach) was impressed with how Seyi was able to take lessons in practice and apply them well in the game.

oh, also, Randy McMichael was once a good pass catching TE. I'm not sure what happened, but he probably stands to benefit the most if Gates is out.
