anyone that watched the eagles play last week, how was Sean Jones used? was he used as a true FS or was he around the LOS/in the box alot? i can't imagine the Eagles using him in centerfield or in coverage all the time when he's kinda a liability in that aspect.

Didn't see the game, but Eagles really don't have a true strong/free safety alignment, they're both just safeties. They'll split time in-the-box.Below is from an article earlier this year when Jones was signed...

Philadelphia GM Tom Heckert said Mikell and Jones will likely be interchangeable at the safety positions in defensive coordinator Jim Johnson's scheme."It's whoever Jim wants to bring down in the box," Heckert said. "It's not really a true strong-safety, free-safety scheme. I think we can just kind of maneuver who you want down there."
