Seattle from nowhere....Just watch.... (2 Viewers)

The knock on the "Gulls" is weak "D"......but it will be his strenght! And Shaun Alexander will be a full blown stud! With that it will be the real Matt Hasselbeck! D. Branch is a playoff dynamo....and D-Jax is automatic. If you think the planning Holmgren has made is not done in terms of taking his group to the "Show"....don't clock out. Bet your "SMART" money that the Hawks will win this week....and with that win......it's "Super". The jinx of Monty is not like a hex.....it's just he can't manage an important game. Walrus wkaes up wanting the biggest challenge!...................... :goodposting:

Seattle will score and score early and often!

Seahawks-----37

Chargers------17

MVP Shaun Alexander(gamin') 158 yds and 3 TD's

and Mr. LT2 107 yds and 1 TD

Hasselbeck 23-29 304 yds and 2 TDS

Rivers 28-45 278 yds and 1 TD's

:lmao: :lmao:

"Oops...looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."

I am a seahawk fan, and I am not sure how they will put up enough points to beat the bears...

Can't see it happening. The offense has been horrendous this season, and that have little to no secondary. Hackett is out, and D-Jax is a Question.

<nope>

I think this game rests squarely on the shoulders of Holmgren. Hass, Alexander, Branch, DJax, Bobby E, Hackett and Stevens missed a combined 32 starts this season. And in doing so I'm actually really surprised that the Seahawks were able to make the playoffs this year (defensive injuries and o-line shell game aside).

Did Holmgren back his team into the playoffs? Absolutely not... it's my opinion that he was able to hold the team together through injury and adapt enough with the players he was able to field each week to get his team into the playoffs. It wasn't pretty but it was enough. Seattle's problem is they have haven't been able to get themselves into a rhythm where they move the ball well. And sadly, as a Seahawk fan, I don't think a cold day in Chicago is going to be the time they do it. However.... and this goes back to my original statement. If Holmgren can see what the Bears D is doing and can call the right plays to allow Seattle to play their quick tempo offense, the Hawks could win big on Sunday. And that's what I hope to see

anybody could advance out of the NFC this year. If it is Seattle I'd have to imagine they would be a lot healthier come SB sunday, so anything can happen.

I'm a Bears fan and will freely admit that with Grossman at the Helm anything can happen. If there is a let down by the Bears defensively they can be in trouble, fortunately for them the injuries the Seahawks have to their receiving core will help. The bye week can come into play as well, teams always seem to be a little sluggish after the layoff.

Against Dallas, it was the first game that Hass, SA, D-Jax, Stevens, and Engram had seen the field at the same time all season. I think them getting to the playoffs is impressive. The offense is going to come together at the right time.

The Bears come into this game looking ahead to next week, that will be their downfall. :lmao:

Sorry, they should've tried harder to hold Romo/Barber/Jones/Glenn and TO to less than 14 points. Oh wait, they did that. They were one special teams play away from a last minute field goal not even being an option. Holmgren outcoached Parcells, the Hawks D outperformed the Cowboys O, and the Cowboys D gave up just enough to lose. And Seattle beats the 1 and 4 in December Dallas Cowgirls. I know Seatlle had problems and had a great break (though they still had a minute, had been moving the ball well that quarter and had a kicker that can hit a 55 yard geme winner) but come on. The Cowboys backed into the playoffs even more than the Hawks, had been playing just as crappy and didn't show the will to win Sunday. It's not like Seattle lucked out over a dominant team, the Cowgirls sucked ever since the pro-bowl noms and couldn't even beat the 2-13 Lions at home to stay in the NFCE hunt. Get over it.

 How about 6-1 when Hass, Alexander and Djax start?
What are the combined record of those teams? Just curious? Considering they only beat one regular season opponent with a winning record, I will guess you are 6-1 vs. below .500 teams.
Who cares? But if you're really interested only 3 of those 7 teams were below .500. But if you want to have fun with twisting data around, only 2 of Chicago's 13 wins were against teams with a winning record. Their opponents had a combined record of 110-146. Whooopie! It still doesn't matter. Why don't you take you're 8-8 angst and your "Cowher broke my heart" coffee mug and find another thread.

why let the facts get in the way of a good post!DEC3 - Denver W 23-20DEC10 Arizona L 27-21DEC14 SF L 14-24DEC24 SD L 17-20 - last minute TD pass - held LT2 in check all game - not a bad loss...DEC31 TB W 23-72-3 -and one play away from 3-2 and a win over the #1 seed in the AFC...

I will be stunned if Seattle scores more than 13 points in this one.
why? against a Bears DEF that gave up 26 to GB, 21 to DET, 31 to TB, 27 to StL?? I will be stunned if Rex Grossman doesn't give Seattle 13 points by himself in this one.

Seattle would have beat Dallas, whether or not Romo got the snap down.... one of the best 2 min offenses in the league, and the best clutch kicker in teh league this year. Seattle also "should" have beat San Diego but you dont see anyone talking about that.

I'm a Bear fan, but I do not hate Seattle at all, but that was corny and very gay.
It's no Superbowl Shuffle to be sure... but as a Hawk fan I thought it was fun. Unfortunately I'm a Seahawk fan on the East coast so I don't get all the media buzz that you'd find in Seattle. All I hear about is the Colts coming into Baltimore. So... something like this is better than nothing :banned:

Wha? We didn't even play Miami or New England.
Right, I was thinking about Green Bay, and forgot TB blew it in OT.
Chicago also beat GB (and it actually mattered the first time) and last time I checked the Bears handed it to Seattle this year as well. None of that is relevant as far as I can tell. That said (and I am a Bears fan) I have no confidence in the Bears winning anyway. But not because of any of the logic that you have suggested here. It is all about the Bears defense stopping Seattle, IMO. And without Tommie in the lineup they have made SL, Tampa, Detroit and GB all look like monster passing teams. I am hoping for a blizzard this weekend, just to deter that a little.

I would actually not be shocked to see Seattle win this one, and it wouldn't surprise me too much to see them win in a blowout. All it would take for that to happen is for Rex to have a "bad Rex" game (veyr possible) and for Seattle's offense to play like they should, which is also possible since the Bears D has been slipping.

The Bears have been playin without their starting cornerbacks and safety. They will be back for this game.
