"Shameless" (2 Viewers)

Part of me thinks that Frank is going for the mega-scam. I see him marrying the doctor so he gets her money when she succumbs to cancer.
She's not going to marry him, and she doesn't have any money. She's probably hugely in debt. She's far too young to have repaid her student loans.
Does this open the possibility if Frank marrying Bianca looking for a big payday, and then inherits her medical school loans after she dies?

Part of me wants to see Frank assume that she must have $$$ as a doctor, but he is so in tight with what hospitals/doctors do that you figure he must know about their pay/debt potential, so you're likely right. Plus, he wouldn't let her go through his future payday by paying $10k for a bottle of booze.

The Kevin and V dialog was fantastic last night

Kevin answering about the wifely duties and then V getting busted - and the dating vs sex with the dorm girls. I like how they went back and forth not realizing how in deep they both were. And then Kevins answer on why he came back vs the expectation that V had for an answer - every guys nightmare argument. Good Good stuff

:goodposting: As well as the "dating is the first step to a relationship...sex is the first step to you know, sex." conversation.

Lol @ the nipple clamps and Mickey's "I wasn't locking it I never touched that lock get your eyes checked."

This show is so good.

This episode made enduring the Kev and V split worth it. I LOVED how V reacted to Kev's confession that he'd looked up an old porn movie they made together. It was like he pulled up into her driveway with "In Your Eyes" blaring on his boom box.

I was thinking about this show at lunch and for the life of me, I don't understand why the brought Jimmy back. I get that she just got married and having the sex with Jimmy was a means of her regressing to her past poor decisions. I just don't understand why they needed to use Jimmy who many thought would be swimming with the fishes. For me, the introduction of Jimmy could have been assumed by the guy who she went on the bender with or some other old flame. You could then use the Diner Owner as her second temptation.

I loved how nonchalant he was when he found Sami dead. It was as if he found a missing sock or something.
That was great. Made it clear he was no stranger to dead bodies or what to do when you found one. It was like Winston Wolfe without the tuxedo.
just like how nonchalant he was when he told Mandy to remember to clean the hair and blood out of the grill when she hit Karen.

Speaking of which, I hate how ####### ##### (kitty kat) these showrunners are.

Bunch of sallies can't/won't kill off a ####### character.

Frank? Nope

Sammie? Nope

Doosh Uncle who tried to steal their house that Carl fed rat poison? Nope

Karen hit by car? Nope

Pathetic.

 Exactly. He may not seem bright on the surface, but get him in his area of expertise...

Just ordered HBO for Game of Thrones, Veep and Silicon Valley. They added 3 months of Showtime.

What is this show like? Any comparisons?

I get a sense of Weeds and Six Feet Under, two shows I bailed on after about 3 or 4 episodes.

Is that not a good sign?

I watched maybe the first 3 or 4 seasons of Weeds. This is waaaaaaaay better.

Never watched 6 feet under.

Not really sure who wouldn't like this show. It has ####, crass humour, great acting and great writing. It just feels like nothing I've watched on TV. It does a great job of balancing the line between drama and comedy, good and bad. It's 1 hour of great television.

Kind of an underwhelming finale to a phenomenal season. I knew Debbie being pregnnt would be the end of the episode. God I hate her character now.

Loved Frank appearing out of nowhere, taking a joint hit, not asking the boys how they're doing, saying "She's gone" and walking away.

No way a hot nurse like Bianca gets with a dirt bag like Frank...not that I didnt like seeing her nekkid, but it was just a bit of a stretch.

Just catching up question: Why was Lip blowing off the rich Asian Chick? I must have missed something? I mean I get the hot MILF teacher thing, but, once the cuckold thing started it was time to bail. And Lip and the Asian chick seemed like a good fit.
