"Shameless" (1 Viewer)

Good to see Frank back. I hope Fiona doesn't get involved with her boss, way to mature for her. Lip's chick is smoking hot, hopefully she returns from Miami soon. I never realized how easy it is for gay guys to get action. I wish women were that easy. Make eyes across the restaurant, meet in the head for some head. They need to kill off Sheila and Frank's daughter sooner than later. The premier got me excited about this show again after last season's snooze fest.

Picked up for season 6.

Only one day after the Season 5 premiere and with no ratings to report, Showtime announced that "Shameless" has been renewed for a sixth season of 12 episodes.

Production on "Shameless" Season 6 will begin later this year and, as usual, "Shameless" will return in early 2016.

"The viewer loyalty and critical acclaim over the last five seasons has made 'Shameless' one of our signature series," blurbs Showtime Entertainment President David Nevins. "This incredible collection of writers and actors have created a show truly unique in the television landscape."

"Shameless" is looking to build off the momentum of a fourth season that many feel was the show's best

Just finished this season last night.

This season's Fiona sucked. She's a recreational drug user yet the writers are trying to make everyone treat her like she's a hardcore meth addict.

Mickey's character was probably the best thing about this season. His quips and one-liners were top notch.

Ian was being a #### to Mickey about not coming out. I thought it was inappropriate to do that especially considering what happened when his dad caught them #######.

Carl was also awesome this season "maybe that's your real mom".
That Karl line had me spitting out my drink. I agree that him and Mickey were the highlights of the season. Kev was solid as always, and it was nice having Lip acting normal again.

Mandy is looking pretty good.
Season one Mandy was the best. Also, was there any episode better then Debbie grabbing the kid from the party? I was discussing with wife and I think that's my favorite episode.

Turning Frank into an invalid last season was a terrible idea. Hard to believe the writers still went through with it.

I like Fiona A LOT more this season than last. She's a f up but they went to great lengths last season to make her truly unlikable and I thought the season suffered as a result.

I've never liked Sheila but I am not a Joan Cusack fan and never have been.

I like this season tons better than last season so far.

One of the best episodes of the series imo. Every Gallagher was bringing their A game. Frank whores his daughter out for a tank to brew Milk of the Gods. Deb statutory rapes herself. Lip drops emotional bait to bang his bbc loving ex. Fiona spreads her legs for a guy she just met who sings her a song. Carl is munching teen carpet like a Dyson. Throw in the titty milk sweatshop and serial rapist on the loose posters to scare away some lesbians as cherries on top.

Hopefully Sheila is gone for good and Monica/Chunk are soon to follow. This episode set up quite a few options for Gallagher trouble for the rest of the season.

I agree with all of this but my god, was it hard to watch. Some of it just hits too close to home I guess.

Really enjoying the season so far. I wonder if they're going to kill the Mandy character. They mentioned a few times "If she leaves with him, he'll kill her". Sending Lip into some weird depression spiral. I'm enjoying the storyline of Lip starting to distance himself from his neighborhood, just wonder how far they'll take it.

I really hope that Shelia is gone for good. Macy is such money too. "Hmm must have been the extra propane"

They showed Lip shooting up a store with Mickey in the previews, so I am not sure about " distancing himself from the neighborhood."

If Macy can win a SAG award for lying in bed for an entire season they should just give him the award for next year now. He's been ridiculously great the last two episodes in particular.

Fiona's complete lack of self-awareness in the moment is one of her most redeeming attributes.

That and her ####.

Fiona's boobs are spectacular, size/shape/nip characteristics they have it all
The fantastic boobs combined with her flat, taut belly in that calling in sick to work scene.

The dude had quite the view, acting or not. Most excellent.
Yeah she's pretty much awesome in every way. The side view of her when they were getting married made me want Tom to post a picture of her in the yoga pants thread

I wrote that before they showed that preview. I still buy it though. It's like he's trying to convince himself/others he's still part of the neighborhood but deep down he's starting to want out. The train scene was perfect.

Lots of interesting story lines going on this season, really enjoying it.

Yeah each episode this season Frank is finding new lows. Too bad his daughter screwed up his new family, I was kind of hoping we'd get to see the milf's knockers. I must have passed out during last season's finale because I had no idea Steve/Jimmy was back in town.

Steve/Jimmy's return to the southside was a post-credits sequence in last season's finale that lasted maybe five seconds. Easy to miss.

Another solid episode. Kevin is probably one of my favorite characters across all shows right now.

Fiona whoring it up and looking top notch

I like Mickey as a character but Ian gets on my nerves, I could do without the whole kidnapping/bipolar storyline.

Also, not enough Frank or Kevin in this episode.

Started watching in January and all caught up now. Love this show and the Gallaghers. Who would've thought Mickey would be my favorite character.

^^ Mickey is really doing work this season and last. Carl is on fire too. Sammy "I got you the Nunchucks and condoms"...Carl "I know I got one on right now". :lmao:

After the awkwardness of watching Ian on the run with the Russian baby, last night was great. Directed by WHM too.

Really hope that's the end of Jimmy/Steve....Jack.

I agree but I doubt it. And I assume the Asian lesbian that's tied into the Jimmy/Steve/Jack storyline is going to play a greater role in the future. There hasn't been much point to that character yet.

No insider info here. I'm guessing Sheila is gone for good? I found that character annoying on first pass, but after rewatching old episodes in preparation for the current season I have a whole new appreciation for Cusack's work on the show and that character in general.

Mandy is taking at least a leave of absence? I imagine we will see her again if Shameless does another summer-centered season, but with Ian out and Lip at college there isn't as much for her to do with the Gallagher family.

And this can't possibly be the last we see of JimmySteveJack, right? I enjoyed the juxtaposition of that guy making his living as a criminal but still so devoted to Fiona and the siblings.

I liked Jimmy/Steve/Jack's character. Didn't find him nearly as annoying as everyone else seemed to.

I still think they're going to end up killing off Mandy which will leave Lip in a spiral of guilt/depression just when it seems like he's about to graduate and get out of the hood, pulling him back in.

My issue with Jimmy/Steve/Jack is either get him back on board or get him out. You can't tease his return to end S4, then bring him back mid S5 for a quick 2 episode run, then have him disappear for 2 more years. If the end goal revolves around him fine, they should have just kept him in the distance for now then.

My guess what will happen here: Fiona has some emergency and needs cash quick. Asian lesbian has a "job" for Fiona. Things get hairy and Jimmy/Steve/Jack comes to the rescue.
