Shaun Hill week 5 bandwagon (1 Viewer)

Anyone else rolling with Shaun Hill vs the Rams in what should be a shootout

Who are you guys keeping on the bench for Mr. Hill?

I am taking a big leap and sitting Kyle Orton vs the Ravens and Eli vs the Texans

Hoping for 300+ Yards and 2-3 TDS don't let me down Shauny

Like the play, but I chose to roll with the QB opposite Mr. Hill today ... think Bradford hangs up some very decent numbers. Ergo, hoping for the shootout as well ...

PS- as an Eli owner in one league, I think he makes for a great play this week. Houston is giving it up through the air ... it may all finally come together for Eli today ... good luck with your choice of Hill, hope it works out for you.

I like the call on Hill. He is my last QB2 in a rotation of freeman, cassel(dropped) Hass(dropped) until Ben gets back in a 2QB league

In most cases, if I have Hill in a QBBC, I play him this week. But not if you have Eli. The Texans' pass defense has been lit up every single game.I am starting Hill in a 14-teamer where my other QB is Henne, who is on bye.

Not that anyone cares but one of my reasons for starting Hill over Eli is that I also am starting Bradshaw and Nicks. Didn't want to have too many Giant eggs in one basket if they put up a stinker.

Right now I have Hill starting Ryan and Schaub. If AJ starts I may switch to Schaub. I am getting a feeling this may be a trap game and should switch to Schaub or Ryan.

In the 3 leagues that I partake in, I own Brady, Vick/Kolb and Cutler. Obviously a sob story, but I've decided to ride Hill in all 3. I say this as a testament to how much I believe he'll put up mediocre numbers this week. I think you could a lot worse than Hill at the moment, especially if you're looking for a bye week fill in. However, I don't expect him to win any owner's a game this either. Temper your expectations but you should feel somewhat confident that he won't kill you either.

That only makes sense if you have a big lead and are in protect mode (or you can only lose if your opponent scores a ton on Houston DST)....otherwise ......YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME

I have Cutler and Vick.

Picked up Hill over Fitzpatrick, Kold, or Collins.

I'm on the bandwagon. Give me 200 yards and a couple of TD's and I'll be happy.

Just for the record

St Louis D allowed 3 TD Pass in 4 weeks

good luck with starting a scrub like Hill over Favre or McNabb or Schaub

LOL

I've read comments like this elsewhere about the Rams D, but haven't they faced: Derek Anderson, Jason Campbell, McNabb and Hasselbeck to start the season? Are they for real or is it just a smoke and mirrors case of going up against some of the NFL's worst QB's? Honest question as I haven't seen them play this year.

Going with him over McNabb....actually traded for him to hold the fort until Vick gets back...thats how down I am on McNabb

Picked Hill over Kolb.

Thoughts: Kolb is flying clear across country to face a desperate 49ers team on Sunday Night Football under the lights.

Hill's going to throw it 50 times today, and will have Calvin to chunk it to.

IN - starting Hill in one league (over McNabb) and Bradford (gulp) in another this week due to inj/byes.

I thought about it, but I am rolling with Sanchez. I dont want too big of a lead. Besides, I didnt have anyone I wanted to drop

Hill's best games the last two years came vs. the Rams - and arguably, you could say the three best games of his career have come against St. Louis.

Great call here, guys ... Hill certainly came through big ... he's a gutty sum#####, and I wonder how the 'niners would look this year with Shaun at the helm ...
