When you look into the numbers, it's pretty shocking how much incest goes on in this country.
They're all estimates, of course, but they're pretty educated estimates. Somewhere around 2% of the population having engaged in incest is a reasonable, fairly conservative estimate. Which would be 6-7 million people.Dare I ask....what ARE the numbers?

Well, no. Because homosexuality is defined as an intention/life definition, that's about an intended full-life lifestyle. Whereas incest is studied in terms of individuals who have experienced incest at least once. If we include everyone who's ever had a homosexual "experience" in the homosexuality discussion, we're going to get a whoooole lot more than 15% of the population.
With the edit, it's a comparison of apples to oranges, but... yeah. Maybe. It's possible that more people have engaged in incest than identify as gay or lesbian in this country.
Depends who you ask, hence the range of estimates. Almost certainly there are at least 1 million women/girls who have been involved in father-daughter incest, whether consensual or not, in this country.Wait, cousins count?
