Dolphins | Team has not made a decision on R. Williams

Miami Dolphins general manager Randy Mueller said the organization has not made a decision on RB Ricky Williams' status with the team. The Dolphins drafted RB Lorenzo Booker in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Mueller said, "We haven't made that decision at all. We have no idea, like we've both said all along. Ricky has not been reinstated and we're not in the mix on that. So we don't have any decision to be made. We felt good about Lorenzo Booker and nothing to do with any decision down the road."

By taking a rb that early tells me Ricky isn't in their plans for 2007. While Booker is actually i nice player I would rather have him behind Brown than Ricky. Now is Moss can just get traded it will be a good weekend.

Booker is a middle class BushHe may take touches away from brown, but his effect on defenses will make Brown's touches higher quality, causing teams to have only 7 in the box.

Booker = a replacement kick returner for Wes Welker. Brown has better hands, is a better blocker and has been learning NFL blocking schemes for two years. I do think highly of Booker, but I believe this has more to do with having someone available to give Brown a blow and keep him fresh throughout the year. Ricky is only under contract for one more year, no?

My bad, I forgot about Ginn... how could anyone forget that pick? Anyways, I still believe Booker is more Ricky's replacement next year, not a future 3rd down back.
