Sight Adjustments by Bramel (1 Viewer)

Bloom, Yudkin, and Bramel are probably my three favorites.
Pretty good list. I could add a couple more, but then it turns into a list....Truth is, there isn't a bad apple in the barrel, but these three do seem to float to the top rather often. I REALLY miss Bramel's posts in the IDP forum though. I am loathe to PM staff for advice, and Jene was golden in that forum too. Too bad there isn't an IDP forum for subscribers only, as I surmise Jene was giving too much away for free, but the loss of interaction with both Jene and the other IDP staffers sure has made that forum much less than what it used to be.

Last year was my first season trying IDP and I am barely getting the hang of it this year. That forum has been a big help but I agree it's pretty dead.

It's Nails.

Very much appreciate the nice words, everyone. The column has been a lot of fun to research and write each week. Please feel free to PM or email me if there's anything you'd like to see in future weeks. I've mostly been targeting interesting fantasy performances and things that have caught my eye while watching the games.

Sorry to hear that some of you are getting less from the Forum than in the past. With some added responsibilities at home and FBG, something had to give. I don't mind answering advice requests and there isn't any concern about the free/subscriber angle, but I unfortunately couldn't continue the pace I was on in the IDP AC last season. I'm around as much as ever in the main Forum. The increased numbers of folks using IDPs in their fantasy leagues is a double-edged sword. It makes it difficult for the staff to get through the higher volume of advice requests in the AC Forum, but it also brings a larger community that we hope will be able to help each other over the long haul. We're hoping that the IDP AC comes to sustain itself as a community of helpers as the main AC has over the years.

Thanks, Matt. Those of you who like Sight Adjustments should make Waldman's Film Room column a priority each week, too. It's a tremendous read. If you're looking for book recommendations for the holiday season, fans of the the game within the game have been lucky to get a couple of great new reads this year. Pat Kirwan's "Take Your Eye Off the Ball" is a quick, but detailed read on some of the more detailed concepts and terminology that you hear about just in passing on most television broadcasts. And Ron Jaworski, Greg Cosell and David Plaut took a very detailed look at seven of the league's greatest offensive and defensive innovations by breaking down the tape of an important game. That one's called "The Games That Changed The Game." It's not as quick a read as Kirwan's book, but it's as accessible as the NFL Matchup Show is on Sunday mornings.

Like others have stated, I look forward to your contributions the most every week. It's definitely quality insight and appreciated.I believe John provides the IDP rankings for the cheatsheets, , but I would also love to see your IDP rankings every week (say top 20 per position) in addition to the match-ups to avoid/exploit.

This is something I would love to see as well, a second opinion on IDP rankings, as FBG provides for offensive players. Sounds like Jene is maxed out at this point though. Maybe another staffer? Top 20 doesn't help me a whole lot however, it's the lower tiers and spot starters (16 team dynasty leagues, start 3 LB) that I could really use extra insights on.
