Silicon Valley - New Mike Judge 8-Part HBO Series (1 Viewer)

They have really stepped up the level of ### kissing that you see Gavin getting this season. Those two lackeys fighting for his attention

Feel like I watch that all day at the office.

Jared's comment when he went looking for Colin with Dinesh. " How would you like to die today, mother####er?"

:lmao:
That was amazing.  I nearly pissed myself when he said that.  I also loved the exchange when Richard started dancing while on the video conference with Lori and Yao

Lori : "Stop those movements.  I find them annoying."

Yao : "Yes.  We do not like it....."

That was a great scene too. Especially after Yao's earlier comment that he had a hard time telling what Lori is thinking. When he said it he was looking at Lori trying to determine if she was agreeing with what he was saying.

Kiss my piss
I was in 7th Grade and my friend Andrew was a huge Kiss fan. He used to get into vicious fights with his brother Robbie. They would fight like savages and it was amazing one of them did not get seriously hurt. After they would fight, there would usually be some vengeful acts perpetrated by one brother against the other.

One day Andrew came racing out of their house screaming at Robbie "This time I'm going to kill you!" We stopped Andrew and with rage in his eyes he told us the story. He went to put his prized Kiss Alive II double album on the turntable and couldn't figure out why both records seemed to have a sticky substance on them. Robbie was more than happy to solve the mystery by telling Andrew that, after one of their fights, he had pissed on these Kiss records and then put them back in the cover. Robbie raced away from his brother screaming "I pissed on Kiss!" repeatedly. :lmao:

So, I found this comment from Richard particularly funny. So much so, that I had to pause the show and tell this story to my wife. She did not find this story as amusing as I do.

Perhaps she is not the correct target audience for the story and the FFA is?

Safe bet there. :lmao:

I was super-creeped out by Ariel and Fiona.  I know that was the point, and they pulled it off masterfully.
It was awesome. I can't believe no comments on Jared's relationship with Fiona. When Lori had those guys dismantle Fiona in front of Jared, I was dying. The look of horror on his face and the worker putting on her face, "hey, look at me, I'm a robot", amazing.

And of course, how'd you like to die today mother ####er and Richard's assistant. Jared's my favorite character. Love him.

just catching onto this show.  I've watched thru mid-way thru season 3, so sorry for hippling.  This show speaks to me and my professional life so much - it's basically everything I've been #####ing about for the past 20 years.  My wife was rolling her eyes at me because she's the one who has to put up with me complaining about marketing, senior management, etc.

I'm not in software or Silicon Valley but I am a design engineer and so much of this is familiar - the part I'm watching right now was developing the server box vs the full platform - everyone knew the platform has much better growth potential but it is hard to appraise value, so the CEO pushed for the box (before Hooli bought a similar company, thereby putting a valuation on the growth)… man, that applies big time to so many projects I've worked on. Hell, I'm working on "the box" right now.

Wikipedia: In November 2018, it was announced that the sixth season would be delayed, with production beginning in summer 2019, with a projected premiere date of 2020.[6]
I read an article the other day that said the new season is now expected to premiere before the end of 2019.  I would guess it'll be very late 2019, but still good news.  They are also not sure if this will be the last season or the second to last season.

decent start to the last season
I thought it was hysterical.  So many laugh out loud parts.  I loved when Dinesh was questioning Gilfoyl about the bot and Gilfoyl was like, "Do you need me to be here for this conversation or can the bot handle it?"

I liked the episode too.  I'm glad this is the last season though.  The show has run it's course.  But still one of the better TV comedies of all time.

I would have liked to seen it gone longer.  I feel like shows are too short anymore.  6 or 7 seasons was a lot when they were doing 24 episodes a season.  But when they're pumping out 8 episodes every 1 1/2 years, I can definitely take more.

Love this show but I agree that it's about time to end it. They basically recycle the same plot every season. Thankfully, the dialog/writing and the actors are just awesome.
