Sirmon in Tenn? Starting MLB in Tenn (1 Viewer)

Sirmon - saw the article in regards to him playing the MLB position in Tenn. Do his numbers increase or decrease as a result of playing between two solid LBS?

Numbers probably won't change much from his days as a SLB - if he starts all season. He'll be going from a three down SLB to a two down MLB, so he may see a small bump in tackles (although the presence of Thornton may blunt some of that) but lose some coverage stats. However, rookie Stephen Tulloch could earn the job at some point this season.

:goodposting: Took the words out of my mouth. Sirmon won't be sniffing the field on passing downs with Bulluck and Thornton on the team.

Will an extra D-Back come on or a better coverage LB? If it's a LB, does Thornton or Bullock move to the middle in obvious passing situations?

I like to think of Sirmon as follows: He is dirt cheap to acquire. He will perform fine in a backup role on your team. One serious ding to Thornton or Bullock, and Sirmon may be regular starter material in a 16 teamer ...
