SJax Surgery on finger (1 Viewer)

He plays through anything.

If he can play through a pulled groin and accumulate over 100 yards of offense by getting taped up, I'm sure he'll be good to go after having early-week surgery on the ring finger of his non-dominant hand.

No reason to panic. At least not yet.

SJax played through a broken back.....I'm pretty sure he'll be able to tough out a left hand ring finger surgery. Nothing to see here IMO.

Here we go again. Sjax owners will now have to deal with fumbling issues.
I think you may be over-reacting a bit. We don't even know how serious this is. As others said he's played through a back problem and he got split in two this season, didn't miss a game and has been piling up the yards without missing a beat. He is a stud. I'm not concerned about this at the present time.

SJax doesn't sound worried about this and neither am I.

sj39: It has been a busy day.Yes, I had surgery on my ring finger but I shouldn't miss a beat. I'm not married so I'm covered there too.

Rams are on bye week 9. Surgery done immediately after week 7. That tells me either a) this couldn't wait, or b) it's minor. Early indications favor b).

He played through the injury yesterday and had another 100-yard game. If it wasn't a problem for him against the Bucs I doubt it will be a problem going forward.

From RotoWorld:

Steven Jackson was able to play through the crack in his left right finger during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.

Jackson apparently suffered the injury early in the game, and coach Steve Spagnuolo didn't even know about it until the plane ride him. Monday's surgery adds a different dynamic to the situation, but the fracture itself clearly wasn't overwhelmingly painful. S-Jax seems likely to start in Week 8.

It's been a loooong time since I've seen a Rams game, but for those who have ... what hand does he predominantly carry the ball in? Is he one of those guys who switches from hand to hand a lot?

I'm not too worried for the reasons posted here, namely he's played through a LOT worse and put up good numbers.
