I expect him to start at some point this year. Skelton is bound to struggle at some point. I simply don't think Skelton will ever be consistent enough to viewed as a long term NFL starter. The decision was made yesterday that Kevin Kolb isn't the long term or even immediate future of the Cardinals.
He's now failed to gain the confidence of two different staffs. The confidence that he was the best solution at their QB spot. Give him a pass for Michael Vick, but now we're talking getting passed over by John Skelton. He's 28 years old. He's failed to impress in camp/games for the past year+. He's squandered the two biggest opportunities in his career. Most guys (unless highly touted coming into league) don't even get two. No shot IMO another starting job's handed on a silver platter for him.
If Kolb begins to chirp about being the backup at any point, I wouldn't be shocked if he were cut if/when they think Lindley can handle being the backup duties.

Nice read of Warner's thoughts on Kolb. Agree 100% with his analysis here.
The game simply isn't slowing down for Kolb. Which at now 28 years old, you wonder if it ever will. He simply can't handle the rush. NFL QB's don't have the luxury of always playing with a 'clean pocket'. The ones that do, are usually playing in a rec league somewhere.

Beast and Andre Roberts don't belong in the same sentence. He's stretched as a WR2. Problem he's going to run into short and long term (besides Floyd) is Doucet is also a solid WR3.
