The guy is 6'6 238,ran a 4.47/4.48 at the combine with a 34.5 vert. Most importantly he looks very fluid (wr like), hand catches the ball and looks to have soft hands. I could see an NFL team drafting him as a WR prospect. Colston type?

Mayock currently has him as his number 5 TE.

Hanna outran him, outjumped him, and ran even more fluid. Of course, he's 2 inches shorter at 6'4, but he's even heavier at 244. I'd say he's quite intriguing as well based on how he looked.

Hanna didnt look nearly as good catching the ball (actually dropping it).

Not sure what you watched but Hanna's first gauntlet was flawless.

In the first drill, he dropped the pass. Then in the 2nd drill, he dropped the pass.

Guess I watched more than you or did you just chose to leave out the 2 bad drops in drills?

:goodposting: ....what I saw

In fairness to him, the 2nd go around he caught the first ball did a 180 for the 2nd ball and it beamed him in the forehead cause the QB threw it way too early.

Either way...but in fairness I was responding to "Not sure what you watched"

There is less and less diference between listed TEs and Wrs, but seems like he would have more value mismatching against slot CBs, Safeties, and LBs than being fulltime outside...From same team see Jimmy Graham.

I dont disagree. I was simply saying he looks like a very good althlete, so much so, that a team could view him that way.

Yes, he had those drops, but only one looked bad to me. The gauntlet is a much better measure, IMO, of how a player catches a ball and Hanna looked fantastic in that drill and stood out significantly. Even my wife was watching and noted how effortless he made it look and had nice soft hands. He also made a nice catch on the last deep drill. So, when you say he "didn't look nearly as good", I completely disagree since he looked phenomenal in the gauntlet and having one bad drop on a route isn't indicative of how good a player looks overall in catching the ball. So yes, he did have a bad drop. But no, I don't think he didn't look nearly as good.

Something I learned a long time ago :)

I would attribute those first two drops with Hanna to nerves. He was flawless catching the ball from that point on. Was easily one of the most natural catchers in the gauntlet
