***SNF Week 10 - Colts/Pats game thread*** (1 Viewer)

Mayo is making plays all over the field.
One of the reasons why the colts and others caught up to the patriots is because the Linebackers and Secondary got old fast. Mayo is the first step to correcting that, along with Mayweather and some of the other young corners/safeties the Pats have drafted over the past two years. The Oakland #1 and some of the other random 2 and 3 the pat have picked up are sure to help over the next few years as well.
Hopefully Belichick and crew stop jumping back too much in the draft and using those picks to add some more high talent players.
Once the rookie cap takes effect I bet they dont trade down many picks. Pats dont like paying the price for a top rookie player (generaly).

That was odd. I've NEVER seen a QB turn around and face the other direction like Brady did there. It was like he got dizzy and got himself turned around.

It'd be nice if these Colts scrubs could get more 3 and outs. Brady is KILLING me in my league right now.

I know why they do it but still think can only look for so many bargain bin players before you need to infuse some high talent.

I love it when the network will actually lets you hear the snap count/audibles clearly. Heard Brady great during the first MNF of the year. Always fun to hear Manning and all his calls....

Hmmm....

The Pats are running out of LBs, and the Colts are running out of RBs...

Manning needs to throw with just a little more touch to his rookie receivers. That's something he could probably learn from watching game film of Brady.

If it was me, I'd call both of my timeouts and make the Patriots run 3 kneeldowns. Just to irritate them a little bit. Sometimes, that sort of thing takes people out of their game and causes them to make mistakes.

I am a certified pats hater, but angering them is never a good idea.

Brady 7/10 for 180/1Manning 10/14 for 119/1Brady > Manning
the colts secondary has nothing to do with that?
Colts D is first in the league in points allowed, first in passing TDs allowed, and second in net yards/attempt.
they're missing a cb and a backup safety (where they've already lost sanders) tonight. they look pretty shaky.
I'm aware they've been hit by the injury bug, but those guys have already missed a lot of games this season, while the Colts were earning their first ranked pass D.

Regular season wins during this decade

NE 108

Indy 109

Playoff records:

Brady 14-3

Manning 7-8

Pretty telling. Tells you who is better when it matters most.

The secondary playing tonight is not that group.

bostonfred is setting a new standard for fishing in this thread.

Curious to see how many more nibbles he gets, or if he can pull in a whale.

Oh of course it is. You want to see someone who is calm, cool, and collected start making mistakes? Get in his head. If you believe the Colts absolutely suck, its a horrible idea. But I don't think the Colts believe that.
