I heard it was a relay that tripped the line. The power company is saying that the relay was faulty. The relay manufactuer is saying the relay is fine but the relay setting was too low. I am sure that this kind of info is probably only interesting to guys that work for a power company (like myself).

I haven't read about it - just heard it on the radio. I doubt that the relay is the size of a truck. Most electronic relays just take a small ratio of the actual power system voltage and current. They usually are about the size of a big cereal box. The relay needs to to have proper settings so it can differentiate between a fault and a heavy load but in this case it did not.
... and why didnt they show all the commercials while the lights were out and then run the rest of the game straight thru.i mean, how many shots of the ceiling and steve tasker blurbs did we need?
