Got one of these for Christmas.  Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very reasonably priced, and charges two phones with any sort of daylight.  Also appears to hold a charge, so that you can use it as a battery or charge your phone in the dark as well.

That's a good idea.  You wouldn't have to do it the whole time, but just until the phone is at 100% again.  Never run out of batteries again!
