I'll be in Arizona in March to catch some Spring Training games, and I'm always on the prowl for good food when I'm down there.
Thought some of the locals/regulars could direct me to some places they've been that just have killer food. We hit all the parks, but we're based by ASU hotel wise. There's an Irish Pub in front of our hotel that we always seem to close down, and there's a restaurant called Zetajas (sp?) that we always hit when we're down there...but looking to branch out food/drink wise.
I'm especially interested in Southwest cooking...good local flavor that I can't get up here in the midwest. We're guys though, so steak places, pasta, mexican, bar-b-que....any suggestions welcomed.
As for bars and such, I run with an older crowd, so we're more interested a good place with atmosphere over a nightclubby type place. For instance, we really dug this microbrewery we went to that makes Kiltlifter Beer...that's the type of thing I'm looking for.
