Stanley McClover (1 Viewer)

What say you guys??? If he does get the starting job opposite J. Peppers, he could be dangerous.

McClover is interesting. He fell below the radar last year as a guy that came out a year too early and wasn't ready for the rigors of every down play. I'm still a little skeptical that McClover, twenty additional pounds aside, can become a solid strong side end. Some of that may be a personal belief that Charles Johnson is a potential stud left end in the mold of Charles Grant, Tamba Hali and Michael Strahan (or Mike Rucker).

If McClover and Johnson both are NFL ready this year, it'll cost both of them value in rotation. That would be a best case scenario for Julius Peppers, though, as he was probably looking at more double teams with Rucker and Jenkins iffy at best to play to former top levels.

ETA: Rucker is apparently very motivated and rehabbing hard. He hasn't had a big impact in the boxscores recently but has still been a very solid run defender. His knee injury was worse than an isolated ACL, though, and his age and recent durability history makes it tough to count on him as an every down player in the future.
