IDP scoring:

tackles= 2pts

assist= 1pt

pass deflected= 2 to 4 pts

forced fumble= 2pts

fumble recovery= 6 pts

Sacks: DL=12, LB=10, DB=8 pts

Int= 6 pts

check out the link for Lg 68 for the above style. other leagues have 12 team basic scoring, still others have more enhanced scoring (for each position on Def: DE, DT, OLB, ILB, S, and CB)

I took Henry at 1.06 and I have white too. dont think i did a bad thing. Honestly I think I would rather have a workout warrior who will show up to camp in shape rather than someone who will show up to camp to get in shape. Call me crazy.

Once my zealots rookie drafts are complete, I will be compiling my rookie ADP sheets and posting them in HTML like I did last year. I did make one change this year. If a player was not drafted in a league, I counted that as being drafted 73rd (or 1 pick past the last pick). This evens things out when 1 owner takes a :sadbanana:

pick waaaaay earlier than he is actually going.

awesome data. I have a Dynasty draft starting tomorrow.

Anyone have an updated version of the averages? The last one I see is from 5/9. I will post my 16 owner (start 11 IDP) draft results when complete. I really am interested in drafts with IDP's.

Didn't see this till today. Looking at the rosters the selection of JaMarcus was a good selection. That owner's QBs were only Eli and Trent so he needed a developmental guy and someone who can probably contribute soon and also vye with Eli for his #1 QB. His second round pick was Bowe and I consider that a steal for where he got him. His LBers are thin but he's got Urlacher as his #1 LB. He could use another LB in the mix but outside of the top guys IDPs are difficult to gauge with our scoring.Solo Tckl - 1 pt

Combined solo/asst tckls - .5 pt for every five (so if your guy has five solos and an assit you get a half point bonus sounds odd but we had to seriously tweak IDP scoring a few years back when we switched software which made our carryover IDP scoring system worthless so this fix came close to our original scoring and accounts for assists and makes overall top tackling defenders more valuable.)

Sack - 4 pts

FF - 2 pts

Fum rec - 3 pts

INT - 4 pts

Safety - 2 pts

Per the owner who took Quinn, it should be pointed out that this is a Browns dominant league and this owner had previously taken Kellen Winslow Junior with the top pick a few years ago so this selection is not suprising considering his past home team bias. In this league if Quinn turns into an adequate #1 QB his worth would be far higher than in most leagues. Also that owner has five LBs on his roster and most carry three to four max.

Per Beason. First one point, our rookie draft is a rookie/veteran free agent draft. So some IDP vets are available who carry more value than a rookie like Beason, someone like Barrett Rudd for example who will take over in the middle for Tampa Bay is out there along with a few others that I'm interested in. I haven't looked as hard at Beason. You seem to be up on him could you tell me what you think he can do and if you have any updates on his progress?

The one IDP player I felt should have gone sooner is Laron Landry but DB point totals usually have lots of fluctuation and their had been a spate of high profile rookie DBs turning in so-so production in our league. The high points awarded to playmaker IDPs, i.e., guys who create turnovers makes our IDPs difficult to guage unless they rack up tons of tackles AND create turnovers. I like to ride the waiver wire and pick the hot handed DBs for turnovers and that strategy has also worked for me in picking up hot sack artists. I'm usually not as good picking out LBs so I adopted a strategy of waiting for the more astute owners who had stud LBs and who had taken flyers on guys in the draft who I knew that they would try to slip on waivers as soon as bye weeks/injuries came up. I pounced on Kirk Morrison and Ernie Simms last year. I've been scouring IDP information and have made a list of targets so now I have to look over the other owners and try to guage what they might do and if any of the players on my list will be gone. But I am curious to any insight you might have on Beason and what you expect his numbers to be and your IDP scoring system is so I can make filter your valuation of him via our league scoring system.

On the other hand, Adam Carriker in the second round. Ouch. That's just a brutal selection in a league with relatively dilluted IDP scoring, only two starting DL slots and no specific requirement for DT starters. IMO.
