My league site needs live scoring, but I do not know what companies do this. Any idea who MFL, CBS, etc. use?

I don't believe that is correct. Elias is the official stat record keeper for the NFL. But most every fantasy site I've ever seen, including CBS, purchases their stats feed from Stats Inc. You can check them out at www.stats.com or at biz.stats.com.

I realized I teed that up when I wrote it. What I was really saying is that this is just not for recreational purposes, so paying more would be feasible.
