This one definitely has a asterisk for me since the Bears traded for the pick. Most No. 1 overall pick are starting on a team with less than 5 wins the previous year. The Bears were 7-10 in 2023.
Stafford was drafted to a team that was 0-16. Luck and Burrow were drafted to 2-14 teams. It has more to do with the Bears being in an advance stage in the rebuild than Caleb.
