Hmm debating on starting him over Sproles, but I just have a feeling we'll see more Vereen this week despite the injury concern.
Starting Sproles and Ridley.Hmm debating on starting him over Sproles, but I just have a feeling we'll see more Vereen this week despite the injury concern.
I disagree. As long as Ridley doesn't fumble or get hurt, I think he will see the far majority in carries. He has already significantly out carried Vereen this season, and I think they could get up big on the Raiders and just run the clock out. That would bode well for Ridley. I think Vereen would be a better RB in a shootout, but I don't see the Raiders offense putting up enough points for this to happen.Hmm debating on starting him over Sproles, but I just have a feeling we'll see more Vereen this week despite the injury concern.
He's the kind of player that could get 100yds and two TDs or fumble on the first play and sit on the pine until the clock hits 00:00.Good lord, starting him over Ellington. On paper, I feel really good about the decision. In my gut, it scares the crap out of me.
I am debating these two as well...I'm really torn, no clue which way to go.Hmm debating on starting him over Sproles, but I just have a feeling we'll see more Vereen this week despite the injury concern.
Lafell, the Oline. All the backs looked pretty pedestrian, how much of that is the Oline is hard to tell.NE looked atrocious vs. OAK. How? Seriously..how?
That's a good one. And very accurate....and I got burnt. Why do I keep playing Ridley routlette?![]()
Brady looks washed up.Much like Lloyd Bridges picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue, I picked the wrong year to draft the New England offense. Even in a PPR league, Brady, Vereen, and Ridley are absolutely killing me. It's just very strange to me how a team that was always known for its ability to plug-and-play seemingly underwhelming players with positive results and consistently field a formidable offensive machine has suddenly turned into...this. Ugh.
As much as any other day which means you need should start with minimal confidence.Startable today?

I've been there. As much as any other day which means you need should start with minimal confidence.Startable today?I'm in, sadly
Why do I draft this guy every yearWhen you think you shouldn't start him...start him.
When you think you should...sit him.
Same here and I still won't touch him. He's on the WW in my ten team league
Thankfully it doesn't look like I need Ridley's points in the league where I benched him for Reaves but, as others have said, when you're sure you should sit him...Starting Darrin Reaves over Ridley in one league in flex. That's how low Ridley can go...
I dropped Ridley this week. ^^^This^^^ is why I don't care that he'll be picked up by someone else. They can deal w/ this headache.Hoodie's riding Vereen now. Torture.
Seems to me there should be A Vereen support group instead of this one.
Vereen has 101 all purpose yards tonight. For once, we don't need a support group for either.First year I had him...kept falling to where I thought I would have a decent depth option. But always chose wrong between he and Doug Martin. (or Rainey when Martin was out)Why do I draft this guy every yearWhen you think you shouldn't start him...start him.
When you think you should...sit him.
Stevan Ridley - RB - Patriots
Patriots coach Bill Belichick admitted Monday that Stevan Ridley and ILB Jerod Mayo suffered major Week 6 injuries.
Ridley is believed to have a torn ACL. "Unfortunately I don't think it looks too good," said Belichick. "... I don't think it's minor." Ridley figures to be placed on injured reserve this week. The Patriots will presumably turn to a rotation to replace him, highlighted by Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden.

Probably be a hell of a lot cheaper now.I can't believe I actually put in a trade proposal on him in the offseason (Dynasty).
What's that old Garth Brooks song about thanking God for unanswered prayers??
Unfortunately I gave up what looks like a mid 2nd for him in the offseason.I can't believe I actually put in a trade proposal on him in the offseason (Dynasty).

Not official. Is it a done deal that he has the ACL tear?
He is officially out for Thursday and beyond that it was the usual, "no comment."We may never know because the Patriots are well known for playing games when they report injuries. They will prolly report Ridley as limited for the rest of the season. <_<
