Good poll - while he has been with Springsteen for so long, he's basically been a side piece (albeit an important one). As Silvio, he had much more prominence. So I'll go with Silvio.

When I saw him in the New York County courthouse (in a suit but still wearing a bandana) all the passerby jokes were “Sopranos” related. Things like “you here for Uncle Junior’s trial”.
I think more people know him as Silvio and I’m a big Springsteen fan.

Wow, great question. As a life long Springsteen fan I really wanted to check that box. I bought his first two solo albums after he left The E Street Band for a bit, loved his style of music. That said, I think the broader public knows him as Silvio from the Soprano's and it's hard to argue, it was an iconic role. Voted equally good at both.

I hope you threw some cheese at his feet.

To me Creed Bratton is more known for Office than Grass Roots but Steven Van Zandt definatly E Street Band for me. And actually more a Soprano's fan than Boss, though I love some of the early E Street and early tours were awesome.

Just saw Bruce live in concert last night and Stevie was so fun to watch.
We saw them on opening night of the tour. It’s like they never left off. Incredible show. Average age of the audience was 87 but they were all getting down still.

It was my first time seeing Bruce. Totally blown away. Incredible show.

Ha. Saw him last night in Austin. And same on both - my first time and completely blown away. Hard to believe he's 73. Awesome, awesome show.

I am at Wrigley Field for the show tonight.

Across the street is an apartment building where the performers hang out before heading into the ballpark. When Stevie exited the building, the couple hundred people standing to the side erupted with applause, clicked pictures. I was about twenty feet from him.

Stevie seemed genuinely humbled. He bowed, waved his arms, and then entered Wrigley.
