It seems I need to de-risk a bit. Anybody have names they like at current prices that will be friendly to rising rates/inflation?
Mortgage REITs like NLY react well to rising rates - actually they rise with a large spread, but with the Fed at ZIRP right now that's a given.

Hmmm... generally think of REITs as reacting poorly to rising rates, whether appropriate or not.
Most do.  MREITs are a bit of a different beast.  I have a chunk of NLY and it sheds 13% on cost right now.  I use that slush fund to do stupid #### like buy SPAC warrants, etc.  And lately, and out of character, to smartly buy more BLDP at their lows.

I took a position on all of these 3-5 weeks ago.  Thanks a lot @Todem

I'm going to be looking at a lot more long term growth holds like these, sprinking in some others for fun.

Well this is shaping up to be an interesting Friday.  So interesting I just put a limit order of $252 to increase my position ~40%.

I got no problem betting on the good guys.  All I got is time #####es!  #### you hedgies!!

I would be lying if I say today didn't concern me.

I understand the desire to keep the WSB+ folks happy, but they'd be foolish not to find a way to raise capital from this.

Maybe issue warrants to existing shareholders.
In all seriousness, they are creating a brand right now.  The brand of the 'little guy'.  If they can manage the brand, they will have consumers for life.

Added some SKLZ yesterday. I know it wasn't my idea so thanks to whoever's it was...nice bump after earnings.
I mentioned it right after one of the worst short reports I've ever seen hammered the price down. So, if it was me, glad it worked out! I mean, I'm glad it worked out anyway.

I've made a ton of moves over the past week but have been to busy to post...should be able to update holdings tonight.  Overall I'm cautiously Bullish.

Why is that CAV?
Low volume.  We will see what tomorrow will bring.  Tomorrow would seem like it will be much worse to buy when the stock can't be shorted.  I expected more buying today if things are being squeezed like we think.  But tomorrow will tell.

Also, much stock could have been purchased yesterday to cover with 70+ million shares traded.

SQQQ doesn't seem like a long-term solution. And I'm not asking you, kev.
Gold is the standard answer. I have a bit of NEM (Newmont Holding) and it is preforming well, with record profits and increasing dividends
