These were ones I played when Covid first hit the markets.

SPXS 3x Bear for S&P

TZA 3x Bear for Small Cap/Russell

SDOW 3x shorts the Dow 30

SQQQ 3x short for Nasdaq (I don't think I played this one because I'm too scared to bet against MS, APPL, Jeff, Goog...)

Instead of starting any positions in any of these, I'll play the bulls (TQQQ, TNA, SPXL) if/when they dip.
Thank you!

Utilization and satisfaction of telemedicine has remained high according to the neurosurgeon associations I work with. These guys aren't GP's, so maybe both can be true.
That article is talking only about the stock price. TDOC’s revenue double from 2019 to 2020 and looks to be doubling from 2020 to 2021. He’s clearly against telemedicine, but it sure doesn’t appear to be going away.

Or be a real dunce and buy UVXY early!

Trimmed more NRGU at 155.2 and BNKU at 61.9 premarket (sold BNKU at that price yesterday) as both are giving me a short run peaked sort of feeling.

Or maybe not...

Im still interested in following

Down again this morning.

It's trending as I guessed it would.  Selling has been accelerating the last few weeks and down 20%+.  I think most know it's a house of cards.  Eventually, not sure it will be in my window, there will be a rush to the exits.  Sticking with my theory that people who are way up will start taking money off the table with the Holidays coming up.  They're going to need that money to buy the Grogu's @Joe Steelerand I have on Ebay.

In for 100 SPXS.  Will be looking to add. Just a short term hedge where we'll all be better off if I end up selling at loss.

Bought 15, 10/15 SPXS call contracts at.84 each.  Sucks, was at.61 and my order didn't fill.  Will unload the 100 SPXS soon.

For once I actually have a bit of dry powder for one of these pullbacks.  Looking to start positions in some tech stuff like UPST, ADBE, NVDA, ASAN, GLBE, DOCN.

We thinking this is going to be a multi-day thing?  I'll start some positions today but considering just buying it all now in case we rip back to highs again in 2 days like these stonks sometimes tend to do.

Same.  I'm about 20% cash in my brokerage/DT account which is the largest that's been in a while.  Slowing putting that to work by adding to my TQQQ position.   Not sure where else I want to put it right now.

Great question. I’m at about 20% cash in my brokerage account and only a little in my IRA. I do have some stuff I could sell to consolidate and most of that is down less than the stocks that have run up so might be worth it.

Usually, there’s a bit of a pop and honestly, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a longer draw down. October has been a good month to buy the past couple years (pre-COVID too) so it wouldn’t surprise me to see the same. In today’s worlds of patterns and AI/algorithms, maybe October will again be a nice time to buy and a run up through February and a drop into March.

I've started watching Moderna a bit, but it's had a heck of a run this year. Not sure how I feel about this entry.
I was just adding to both, I like what I see and will ride it out if need be.  Hard to put yourself in a world 5+ years from now but that's what I'm doing with these.

I mean, one is kind of an answer to a ####### pandemic and is obviously super premium-priced due to it, yet who's to say this isn't the tip of iceberg for them?  The other is actually being held down because of the pandemic.  Both should thrive in the end and I can wait it out.

Talked myself into starting a position here. Did one in FTHM too.

What's your take on FTHM?
That might have been from me. It came up in the Yahoo people also watch this list for a couple of other stocks. It’s terribly low volume but their growth/numbers are way better than a lot of high fliers. No idea so I only bought 100 shares. I think I’m a little above even although it was up recently until today. I don’t see myself adding much until they continue to hit earnings and maybe get a little more volume. I’m not a big fan of really low volume stocks just in case you need to get out quick.

A friend of mine recently did one of the more expensive small cap MF services and it was on his list. Caught my eye when I looked into the (very sparse) news on them. Seems like they offer a lot of value to agents in a sector that needs more disruption. Easy to imagine someone like Redfin or Zillow buying them out down the line, although I've never liked their business models really.

I also will sometimes buy a stock because of the yahoo watch list dynamic (LOB) too...

I know she isnt the flavor of the month anymore.  Kathy be buyying though.

Coinbase

Robinhood

and draftkings

I think those dynamic lists can lead you to some of the other MF recommendations.

She's still my flavor and I've been adding to ARKK in my Roth recently.  I can be patient with her.

DKNG is always flashing buy to me when it gets in this low 50 range and the alarms really go off when it dips into the 40's.  It's my largest non-ETF holding and I treat it more like a Long Term play so I don't actively day trade it much like I do the 3x ETFs.  I'm going to change that up a bit though since I have cash to play with and DKNG does like to roller coater between 50-60.

Interested in Squid Game but after Lupin and Money Heist I need a break from subtitles.

As for Money Heist, I'm 10 episodes in and not sure I will make it through.  It started out promising but can best be summed up as "Stupid thieves try to evade even dumber cops while holding stupid hostages."
Cool. What’s the ticker symbol for Squid Game? Are we worried about competition from Octopus Game?

Watch Alice in Borderland before Squid Game or maybe after. It’s way better so not sure if Squid Game would be a let down or if you might ruin Alice by watching Squid Game first and not be as interested. Either way, if only one, go Alice in Borderland.

I bought more DKNG today.  Its a good sized position for me.

Sold the 100 SPXS yesterday for a cool $100 gain. :confetti:

ETA Just sold the options for a gain of $365.

October is right around the corner and historically the worst month for the markets.  Not to mention that there's no shortage of terrible things going on in the world.  Going to look later at another short position with a November expiration.
