Seems like the right place for this. Can't believe the clip isn't on youtube (that I could find).

Mrs Non-Smoker: Oohh hello, Mrs Smoker.

Mrs Smoker: Hello Mrs Non-Smoker.

What, you been shopping then?

Nope ... I've been shopping!

What d'you buy?

A piston engine!

What d'you buy that for?

It was a bargain!

How much d'you want for it?

Three quid!

Done. (she hands over the money)

Thank you.

How d'you cook it?

You don't cook it.

You can't eat that raw!

Ooooh ... never thought of that.

Aren't you too old for this? 😉

Are you sure that they are paying $40 a month? They have a subscription option that isn't linked to the bike that is only ~$13/month. When that came out, I assumed they would lose the vast majority of their $40/monthers.
Lol well apparently we are one of the stupid ones :bag:

edit: I think to have your username show up in the class it’s the 40 a month program. And that’s what I was referring to, there are thousands of those every day.

With the Adtech-opalypse brought on by SNAP and now ROKU/MGNI, we might be in a good window to start positions in these companies if you’re not in them already. TTD and PUBM still need to report (both within the next 10 days) and if trends hold, we could see more choppiness based on Apple’s app store thing and companies reducing ad spend to reduce demand since they can’t meet it because of supply chain issues. Be interesting to see if those two took a hit in the most recent quarter, too. If more drops happen afterwards, I’m backing up the truck for the good ones.
Tempted to add a little more TTD.  Down 8% and I don't usually DCA until I'm at 10%+, but trying to be patient and wait for earnings in case it drops more.

I'd think I'd want the anonymity

Nope, we're on the cheap plan, and occasionally my wife will do a live class, mostly when she's on a milestone ride and is hoping that the instructor will call out her name.

So what’s the difference between plans? I wouldn’t mind saving a few bucks here.

I don't know all the details, but the $40/month actually pipes in through the bike, and might display your speed/resistance in the live sessions, or something.  The cheaper one, you need to run on an app, which can be on your phone, tablet, or most smart tvs or devices. I'd look into it, but if you have the Peloton bike, your wife may kill you.

But I'm pretty sure this plan killed Peloton's profits, because now you can get a normally priced bike, and pay 1/3 of the monthly cost and get about 90% of the functionality of their normal stuff.

Furthermore, the less fear we have of Covid and turn it into just a Flu, the more likely people are to catch it.  I'm seeing the wrong reaction to the news.
Threw another 80 shares on the fire since it was in the low $76s. They report next week, in for a penny, in for a pound. A decent holding for me now and I’m not way up on it. Most stocks I have multiple shares of is because they went up a lot. Hope I’m not crazy.

My basis is $54, and I'm freerolling the shares I do have left. I'm seriously thinking about adding here. Or at least writing some puts.

I don’t want to remind myself that at one time had 500 shares at a cost basis of $16 and I also recall thinking about adding more at the bottom in March of last year when they were $6 a share. That was a mere few weeks after I bought in at $16. Needless to say, I sold those shares before the run up to $190 and so now I am making up for being an idiot. I’m probably around where you are when you put it all together but it’s definitely one of my jumped out too early. Could have sold and rebought and been sitting on 1000 shares with a $0 cost basis. SMH. That’s a year earlier retirement gone.

Just joined you.

Are you factoring in medical bills when @stbugs runs you over?
I definitely won’t be stopping, well maybe I’ll stop if there’s no traffic so I pull some leaves and branches over you to keep you hidden. I’m sure TunaNTequila has seen those large hordes of turkey vultures around Charlotte. They’d have GM picked and cleaned in a day.

:lmao:

My wife had us doing some spin classes at the rec club this summer, but it was outside and it was fine for a few weeks, but then they moved the bikes back inside and I just couldn't do it.  I have a bike.  I live in Oregon.  It's a nice place to ride a bike.  Plenty of trails where angry drivers can't hit me.  Why would i want to do that indoors with a person screaming at me to do better for $40 per month?

Bike riding version of GM or the current holiday season, winter padding version?  :bag:

I think I'm done with DKNG.  My avg cost is $50.26 so I'm not getting murdered but I am getting slightly annoyed at this one.  I might sell half as a purpose pitch to send a message.

Related, my old man is 77 and plays in our fantasy league.  Whenever one of his players gets a zero, he benches him or cuts him and thinks it sends a message to the rest of his players.  :lmao:

That's how I feel about DKNG right now.

Haha I do this all the time with players.  Like Saquon if he thinks he is gonna step just step right back into the RB1 slot in my lineup after these last two years he's kidding himself.  Sorry Saquon you go in the flex and Khalil Herbert gets promoted to the RB slot.  Yeah I know it's embarrassing for you.  You want that top RB slot back you earn it buddy.

The $40/mo plan actually goes through the bike and keeps track of you stats like power output, etc.  So you can actually see how you're doing, as well as how you're doing compared to the rest of the class.

Honestly I think the difference is easily worth it.  Seeing your output and how it compares to previous rides and the competition it creates within the class is one of the main motivating features of Peleton.  For most people it's too easy to slack off and get a crappy workout without it.

Oh yea she isn’t giving that up. It’s her favorite thing lol

Bastards!

Seriously, thanks for the note.  Looks like they will be exercised for me, which is fine.  I want to own the shares.

---

In other news, IONQ warrants up 43% today.  🚀  No idea why, just sipping champagne while shopping for a new yacht...
I have way more warrants than shares I will wish to own/fund. I read the details RE: exercise/cashless exercise. I interpreted them this way:

"Hey dummy,

Just sell the warrants at market value now and use the proceeds to buy the number of shares you want to own."

Don’t recall seeing this ticker mentioned before, but I am intrigued by LTRY. It’s a lottery app where you can buy tickets via an app. It has by state and country. I had no idea this was a thing. So many degenerates love to blow money on the lottery. I guess the key is to get these people to do it on their phone instead of in person (could be tough - generally an older crowd). Some definite perks - they tell you the numbers after the drawing via an alert, and if you win, and how much, etc - no searching online or making sure you catch it live on tv. If you’re a casual player, they’ll alert you when a pot like Powerball or Mega Millions gets big. They just blew out sales and earnings and were up 20% on Friday. Still cheap at 15-16 bucks. They mentioned getting into sports gambling. I am looking to take a starter position on Monday. I can see a big dog casino or sportsbook eventually buying them out.

I currently own 1400 shares of ET stock.  Their dividend was at $1.22 at one time, but it is half that now.

They are paying down debt and have been helped by bad weather across country.

ET also owns Sunoco which carries a huge dividend payout of $3.30 a share.  I don't have any of that stock.....yet.

New to the game but doing alright.

BOOM.

All in on BPOP

I actually do think they start a coin.  Why not?  they are a meme company now.  They would bank
The CEO said it was a possibility.   It's all getting so crazy.  Can't wait until I have an infinite amount of different crypto to pay for a McDlt.

Naturally, TTD is up 10% premarket after reporting beats and slightly higher guidance. Obviously that might not hold - encouraging to see them perform but, alas, might not have a dip.

Of course, lol.  I can't complain about a 22+ point swing though.  I'll take it!

Hell yeah! I’ve divested a lot of my original shares (last batch at $90 split adjusted), but this is a nice 5 figure gain. ZS passed it as my second largest holding but TTD jumping to a hair behind.
