I'm thinking about gambling on some CMG calls. It's already drawn down a bit and this reaction seems a little overdone. Never owned it before. Might sell a put in an IRA and start scaling into a position.

I like all of this. Except maybe for the timing. Meaning, I've been trying to follow a three-day rule where you don't make big moves like this until three days after some kind of shake-up. I may piggyback on this come Friday.

Ended up buying some December 50's for $4.81 that are up a solid 22% already. I'll hang onto these for a bit. No shares bought or puts sold.

I like waiting a few days usually, too, but that's after earnings when they report well and the thesis stays intact, but it's getting hammered anyway. In this case, I figured once people digested this and realized that the COO would be moved into the CEO role, and he's been there for 7 years and was part of the reason they did so well, it'd rebound a bit.

I would be letting it ride, but I've been churning covered calls regularly and there's a decent chance they all get called away this round ($31). I'm good with it.

I'm letting it ride. Somewhere nearing 1k shares. I want to see what the AI revenue curve looks like for the software side after the hardware side gets played out and the market matures a bit. Personally I think it's going to double.

I'm holding because I have a low basis in a taxable account. Would rather it do amazing for 8-10 more years and then sell and deal with the gains then.

It was down 9% or so when I bought calls. Sold them for 60% gain or something.

UWMC killing it. Closed above 9. It’s my favorite kind of stonk - goes up, pulls back a bit, pushes higher, pulls back again, rinse and repeat. Next stops 10, 15, 20. Just hoping we don’t see a massive sell the news selloff when Fed does its first rate cut next month.

We may see a pullback, but this looks to be something just to hold. At some point the mortgage market will break out for real and this will be rewarded. I'm just holding and collecting divvies.

Also, bought a bit more JAAA today. Tempted by JBBB, but with the US LEIs crashing I'm sticking with high quality bonds.

I have been buying pretty regularly (it's actually one of only 3 stocks that I have a weekly automatic buy set up on) but I wish I had bought a lot more. It's my heaviest "dividend" stock by far but I did put it in my dividend bucket which is a much smaller chunk of my portfolio compared to growth since I'm still a long ways from retirement. Maybe I should re-classify it as growth.

Any opinion on earnings in 2 weeks? I think they kill, but I couldn't bet my whole stack on it. But so far I'm in for half. I think. About$4600 from my $1000 start gambling account.

It went down because of a bunch of stuff that won't effect this upcoming earnings, so I really feel like everyone is going to remember they're just printing money when they drop the earnings report. I'm so confident that they'll blow out earnings that they probably won't.

Most of mine are long-term but I bought some in the last month that are up 3k that I’m considering cashing out on. I want to buy some more legos lol.

I was considering selling a covered call as well given how pricey they are.
