Ended up buying some December 50's for $4.81 that are up a solid 22% already. I'll hang onto these for a bit. No shares bought or puts sold.I like all of this. Except maybe for the timing. Meaning, I've been trying to follow a three-day rule where you don't make big moves like this until three days after some kind of shake-up. I may piggyback on this come Friday.I'm thinking about gambling on some CMG calls. It's already drawn down a bit and this reaction seems a little overdone. Never owned it before. Might sell a put in an IRA and start scaling into a position.
I like waiting a few days usually, too, but that's after earnings when they report well and the thesis stays intact, but it's getting hammered anyway. In this case, I figured once people digested this and realized that the COO would be moved into the CEO role, and he's been there for 7 years and was part of the reason they did so well, it'd rebound a bit.
hmmmmmmmmmmm
