I remember something of that nature but it didn’t really have much effect unless you were day trading.Hearing the word reallocation being said a lot. These record stock rises have to be doing a number on allocation %'s of a lot of funds, right? Was that what was determined to cause the 2018 December drop, then quick rebound?
We will absolutely see sell-offs in Q2 for tax purposes. Especially in the high riser tech stocks IMHO.I remember something of that nature but it didn’t really have much effect unless you were day trading.
I wonder if we will see any type of selling early next year when a ton of the gains this year will be long term gains, especially in March. Again, probably not worth trying to guess but I can’t see huge tax sales this year because so much would be short term gains.
Trying to figure out where to put in a stop right now. It's suddenly my largest single holding in my trading account (still a very small percentage of my overall portfolio).Probably a bunch of stops set at .40 for revive.
Oh yeah, Fidelity won't let me do any kind of stop loss or limit order on RVVTF.Trying to figure out where to put in a stop right now. It's suddenly my largest single holding in my trading account (still a very small percentage of my overall portfolio).
Really? That’s interesting.Oh yeah, Fidelity won't let me do any kind of stop loss or limit order on RVVTF.
It's to prevent people getting burned cydy style.Really? That’s interesting.
In, thanksAdding one more SPAC - HAACU. No target yet, but it’s run by the team that founded and built Livongo. Trading under $11 still.
Yup, tried all six of the Stop orders they have available, all triggered one of these two errors:Really? That’s interesting.

I've been trying to decide when to jump in on that and AIGood time for ABNB on the dip?
Picked up RBAC units today, Billy Beane's SPAC. Fascinating meme potential if it finds a target.Adding one more SPAC - HAACU. No target yet, but it’s run by the team that founded and built Livongo. Trading under $11 still.

I see its beating earnings every quarter this year, but why is it worth a 36 P/E when banks as a whole avg. less than 16?Still a big believer in SI for anybody that is looking for a new, speculative position.
8% pop today

Was just reading thisPicked up RBAC units today, Billy Beane's SPAC. Fascinating meme potential if it finds a target.
About as shocking as a fart after eating Mexican food. When it opened that high, the only losers would be the people who bought it post IPO. I’ll be shocked if it isn’t under $100 in a few weeks.Dash is absolutely getting murderer today.
The last week or sho I've been wondering why the hell talking heads keep talking about Jordache. being so highly valued.Dash is absolutely getting murderer today.
Any idea on a price target? I find companies like this tough to value...imo no
It's a speculative crypto growth stock so comparing it to traditional banks is probably not wise. You would need to believe in the proliferation of crypto(which has already started with PayPal etc.). I personally believe that the proliferation has already begun and is here to stay.I see its beating earnings every quarter this year, but why is it worth a 36 P/E when banks as a whole avg. less than 16?
I think it would be smart to take a 10% position here.Any idea on a price target? I find companies like this tough to value...
That's going to be a tall order unless the young money gets flushed out of the market.ABNB and Dash with expected drops.
I'll never buy Dash, but ABNB gets intriguing to me around 80ish, maybe 90.
AgreedThat's going to be a tall order unless the young money gets flushed out of the market.
I’ve been on the fence hereIPOB up 7% today. I'm cashing out my 53% gain. Maybe it runs to $40, but not many of these SPACs have done that. I'll recycle those funds in another SPAC closer to $10.
What's the reason you are in cash? Your answer should push you off the fence.I’ve been on the fence here
I’m already 70% cash
I always get nervous at all time highs, particularly on my swing, speculative stocksWhat's the reason you are in cash? Your answer should push you off the fence.
Cashed out my initial investment amount at $.62 earlier today, will probably let the rest ride for awhile and see what happens from here.RVVTF hit $.72 today. That is more than a fivefold increase from it hitting $.136 on November 11th. But it has now dropped to $.5011.
Sweet, I'm only down 43% on this one now!HGEN is doing something today. Their trial has got to be close if not filled at this point.
Yep, Im down some on shares but looking to hit a home run on $10 calls expiring 2/19/21Sweet, I'm only down 43% on this one now!
$MCAC - SPAC for Playboy. No position, but I am interested.IPOB up 7% today. I'm cashing out my 53% gain. Maybe it runs to $40, but not many of these SPACs have done that. I'll recycle those funds in another SPAC closer to $10.
Thanks. I've been forming a position with PayPal for that reason. Sounds like this is a purer crypto play? It's a speculative crypto growth stock so comparing it to traditional banks is probably not wise. Along that line. Academy Sports (ASO) IPO'ed a few months ago. Now around $17.80 with a 6.5 P/E. They haver been very crowded and strong curbside sales.I'm not one to short, but if I was, I would be shorting ****'s Sporting Goods. Went twice this weekend and the place was a ghost town. More employees than shoppers.
That was one of the few IPOs I got shares in, I think $13 and 300 shares. I sold when it popped to $17 a few weeks ago. Seemed like a decent long term buy but I just felt like taking the money and running.Along that line. Academy Sports (ASO) IPO'ed a few months ago. Now around $17.80 with a 6.5 P/E. Thanks. Just started a small portion. Hate buying at the ATH, but at that P/E it feels like a good place to park a small amount of cash.Along that line. Academy Sports (ASO) IPO'ed a few months ago. Now around $17.80 with a 6.5 P/E. They haver been very crowded and strong curbside sales.
Shorts building it up before they make it plummet?@Don Hutson or anybody following revive — how do so many people know about this? 40 million shares moved today, that’s literally a month’s worth of action for cydy.
