BLMN is tempting to sell at $11 for another quick trade....but I feel like she has more juice left tomorrow. People are lining up to eat out everywhere.....this will drive her higher in the next day or two as this “positive news” rolls out.

Biotech eyes COVID-19 treatment trial combining experimental coronavirus drugs leronlimab, remdesivir

https://www.foxnews.com/science/biotech-covid-19-treatment-trial-combining-experimental-coronavirus-drugs-leronlimab-remdesivir

Biotech CytoDyn wants to trial its potential coronavirus treatment leronlimab in combination with the antiviral remdesivir.

Leronlimab is a viral-entry inhibitor that has targeted HIV and breast cancer. The drug also has been attracting attention as a potential coronavirus treatment, particularly to quell the so-called “cytokine storm,” when COVID-19 has caused the immune system to go awry.

CytoDyn recently announced that leronlimab has delivered “strong results” in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

In a statement released on Monday, CytoDyn announced that it will be submitting a protocol to the FDA for a trial comparing the effectiveness of leronlimab versus Gilead Sciences' remdesivir and in combination with remdesivir for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

“We believe the randomized head-to-head comparison of leronlimab to remdesivir and in combination will provide answers to the lingering question regarding effective treatment options for patients suffering from COVID-19,” said Jacob Lalezari, M.D., CytoDyn’s chief science officer, in a statement.

Gilead’s remdesivir has been garnering massive attention, with the FDA recently authorizing emergency use of the drug to treat coronavirus patients after an early clinical study delivered “positive data.”

Leronlimab and remdesivir are among multiple drugs in the spotlight as the world scrambles to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Many experts, however, have warned that people should not take drugs unless a doctor prescribes them.

Tried to sell PK at $8.40, but it's fallen since I put the limit order in.

Really not sure if I'll sell at $8.10 (these shares were bought at $6.60)
Hit it. 27% gain, not bad at all.

Have a limit sell on DIS @ 119.25 (entered after it had started falling) might not hit and I'm okay with that.

Wouldn't Gilead need to agree to participate in that study with CYDY?

I hope they do, and kind of hope they decline, so NP can film his next interview in the middle of a wresting  ring and yell, "WHAT'S THE MATTER, GILEAD? YOU AFRAID OF THESE PYTHONS, BROTHER?"

Sold everything, out of DFS right at 41.  Well, I sold everything except CYDY of course.

I got some cash left but probably going to just wait till the cash settles and see what you guys think is a good deal in a couple days.

Considering dumping them for a nice 20% loss.  That shaky dividend doesn’t really move the needle for me.
Holding DHT and DSSI in hopes of them at least coming up to a 5 or 10% loss. I'm in no rush to sell right now but they're the only stocks that are negative YTD right now.

I was holding onto ACB for a couple of months while it took a beating.  It did a reverse split last week and this morning it's at a 44% gain.  A bit of good news about its earnings last week (they were better than expected).  I was happy to sell my position with a 10% gain.  Really thought I was going to have to eat a loss on that one.

I'm only posting this because I think it's relevant to some of the news that might be causing today's spike, so it's worth filing away. This is my official "Political post but not really a political post" disclaimer.

With Moderna on fast track status and their aggressive path announced today, it's worth noting that the new "Therapeutics Czar" tabbed in the last week to coordinate vaccine efforts, currently sits on the board of Moderna.

Maybe they're the first ones we're hearing about because they're the best so far, but this seems like a conflict worth noting.

God he's so full of ####.

Painting it like they are just as far along as everyone else, ready to distribute millions of them even though they have literally nothing in place yet for distribution of their non-existent non-trialed drug.

Stonks Go up day on CNBC.  Not a chance they did a “hit piece” on them today.

Aaaaaannddd SRNE CEO gets onto CNBC now based on this rally despite not even having started human trials yet.
They haven’t started animal trials either. Huge pump and dump. I could pour bleach in a Petri dish of any virus and have better results so far. Not saying it can’t possibly work but based on where they are, I’d honestly say that it’s more likely a vaccine is out before they are through all the hoops and have human trials completed. Remember that CYDY is on phase 3. These guys aren’t going to be pumping anyone for months and then multiple phases.

I’m holding.  That said this is right about the neighborhood where all the buyers have disappeared previously.

The technical guys think this may be the run to 3020 and the 200 day MA.

"What is the soonest your cocktail could be ready to distribute".

"If everything keeps going well possibly July/August".

Took a small position on SNRE Friday before the big run. I'm highly skeptical but this is what keeps me from getting out just yet: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/sorrento-and-mount-sinai-health-system-to-jointly-develop-covi-shield-antibody-therapy-targeting-sars-cov-2-infection-covid-19-301055798.html

Mount Sinai is about as legit as it gets.

Moderna’s news is very encouraging. Very. This rally is on that news. Period.
Agreed. Did you hear Golub from CS on CNBC try to attribute it to other things like liquidity? Those things existed this whole time. Definitely positive, even just the implication that a vaccine seems probable if not extremely likely. Moderna's seems like they'd have the first one so a vaccine by YE20 is certainly sooner than I had anticipated. Still seems a bit overdone as they won't even start phase 3 until July. Probably some hiccups along the way but will probably lighten up some shorts when things sell off again.

Trailing stop got be out of BLMN (10.63) and MGM (14.66), but not complaining. I'll take a rare win. Thanks again, @Todem for all your insight. I'll be back in on another dip (assuming it comes).

Looks like he resigned a few days ago.

He does have $10 million in Moderna stock options though

He seems qualified, I hope it works, but this still looks a little weird so I'm not ready to buy everything just yet.

Big profit-taking day. Sold my GLPI at $30, +45%. Many thanks to @Todem for that one.

Last order of business is to trim my DIS position if it hits $119 again. Might not happen, but that’s fine.

I admit I just don't get it, S&P 3000 here we come?
2920-2940 was always where the market couldn’t find a buyer before.  Now that we through that 3020 is the next step up - although the market is overheated and will probably need a little cool off time.

Sold the rest of my PK shares at $8.80

20% gain in one day was just too much to pass on, especially with the unknown going forward. Might regret it but probably not much. Might buy back in if it gets back to $8.

Looks like Disney won't cross $119 again today. I'm good with holding.
