At what point in the draft do you start to take risks? You know, those players who you think will break out this year, but either have injury risks or are unproven?
I think we can agree that the 1st round isn't the time to take a significant risk.
Is the 2nd?
Will you take risks during the rounds you should be drafting starters, or do you wait and take risks with bench players?
Does it totally depend on the position? (i.e. RB risk = early, QB risk = late?)
For me, with a draft coming up tonight, I'm inclined to wait on risk taking until most of my starters are in, but this will mean missing out on some big time talent, and the risky players should have lower ceilings.
