If I get a hot one I ride him, if not, I treat them like socks.
Streaming defenses is easy, much more so than TEs or other positions. Ks offer much less reliable predictability. If you're streaming Ks maybe try throwing darts at a list from 30 feet. You'll burn less calories & not be as frustrated trying to analyze week to week.
Kicker on a great offense isn't exactly a winning formula if it's a high powered offense that converts most of its RZ opportunities. Catanzaro comes to mind - great young kicker but Palmer is deadly efficient. Lots of PATs, not enough FGAs. Kind of the same story for Nugent, Bryant & Crosby - their QBs are playing at a really high level. Gostkowski is the obvious exception that makes the rule.
Big leg on a bad offense is dead wood. Prater & Zurlein are as talented as anyone but bottom third because of all the 3 n outs.
Good but not great offense lends itself to lots of FGAs. Brown, Gano, Hauschka, McManus & Tucker are having elite seasons. You could have picked up 3 of those guys pretty cheap.
I like Barth, Coons, Gould & Santos ROS.
