Anyone use Xbox to watch Netflix?

The newest update is a disaster. You can't rewind; all you can do is skip back in 10 second increments. Even that is pretty buggy and doesn't work the first time you hit it.

It's annoying enough that I've skipped turning on Netflix a few times because I didn't want to deal with it.

For those that enjoyed it, Lilyhammer Season 2 is out now. Watched the 1st episode last night and enjoyed as much as the 1st season.

I watched "Love Actually" last night cuz this is my first Christmas with Netflix and my dvd copy is fullscreen.

Several lines in the Netflix version are different than the dvd. Does anyone know which one is closer to the theater version? :gaynerd:

 My wife and her sister are watching this right now while painting their nails. My son and I are in the other room watching football.

Dexter is pretty good so far. Looking forward to the rest of season 1.

National Lampoon's Christmas is on right now. Always awesome.

Stop at the end of season 1. Or at least shortly after that. Trust me :(
End of Season 4 should be the stopping point.
Season 5 is as good or even better than 2 and 3 but that is absolutely as far as I would push it.
I'd even go as far as saying watch Season 6 and think of that as the final episode. Season 7 was alright at first but by far had the worlds worst final episode of any show I've ever seen. It pissed me off actually.

Season's 1, 2 and 4 are perfect for binge watching on Netflix.

If you enjoy the series I'd also recomend getting the books it was based off of. Really good stories and now that you know what the characters look like you can visualize it much better.

Blackfish-Documentary that really goes inside the Sea World tragedies and serious detail about Tilikum which is the orca who killed the trainer in Orlando. It's well worth watching, was just out earlier this year. Not any longer than 90 minutes, think most will enjoy.
Is the tragedy the way we treat Orca's or allowing a "trainer" to be in the tank with an orca with a violent history?

I thought it was sad the way we treat those Orca's but I was eating cheeseburgers and hot wings at the time. Each of which have a far worse life.
I found it interesting that Sea World knew Tilikum has a violent past. The way he was taken from the mother in the wild…I never knew the kids live with mom n dad basically their whole life. I think people see the white patches on the side of their heads and think that's their eyes, but in fact once you focus where the eyes really are and you see these orcas communicating with each other, no way to describe it any other way, I was just flabbergasted.

When you imagine taking a creature that has the entire ocean at its disposal and is now contained in those fish tanks, it would drive anyone crazy. It makes me rethink the zoos and then you can start questioning Disney which runs a big animal park but I know that won't go over very well but that's where it eventually ends. But first and foremost I will never attend Sea World again, it's been 15-20 years, wife and I went there once but we really didn't enjoy it all that much and now we really hate the place.

Countless musical artists are canceling shows there, I didn't really understand the trainer death until I saw this documentary and the story about the other trainer who managed to survive and not panic, that was incredible.

I just think most folks should see it, is a little slow at times but it was eye opening.

I was OK with Season 5, but I know a lot of people didn't like it. Would have been great if they would have used S5 as the endgame and finished up the story there. Everything after was absolute garbage IMO.

Onto my 3rd episode of GI Joe the cartoon. I didnt realize there was a story line from episode to episode. It's prolly been 20 years since i've watched though.

still as awesome as i remember it and my boys love it.

I haven't seen S7 (dreading that one) but I did like 6.

Pretend season 6 is the last one. I actually liked that season too. Had a few fun twists.

Alaska: The Last Frontier. About a family living in Alaska. They live off the land, essentially have 4 months to gather all their meat, fish and firewood for the whole year. Rugged folks. The show is addicting.
We just started watching this. Great show. It's so much better than Duck Dynasty (though that's not saying much).

Eve's pretty hot too.

Also, maybe this is common knowledge, but did you know Atz is Jewel's dad? She lived there at the homestead for much of her childhood.

I didn't know that. Cool stuff.

Top of the lake is a good mini series.

If you like twin peaks this will be in your wheelhouse

I also assume that's Jewel and Atz singing the intro to the show.

The Iceman was a quality based-on-a-true-story mobster movie.
I've been interested in this and have yet to give it a shot. I've seen mixed reviews on it. I did watch some youtube mini-doc's on this dude that were watchable. Thanks for the recommendation.

i

Europa Report and an excellent Sci-Fi flick which is was released this past summer. I'm shocked the streaming netflix picked it up so quickly, but it's an very great movie.
Most of the story was boring and was about things that really did not matter. Also, they did not really develop the characters as well as they could have.
Disagree. The emotional situation did matter, and that's what they focused on. That and the importance of record.

Yes, I like this film. It wasn't a world beater, but it was a good flick.

Only God Forgives is something you should watch. I'm not saying it's good or bad. I'm still churning it in my brain. But it's something you should watch.

I am looking forward to this one, regardless.
